Habit Burger & Grill — Restaurant in Bakersfield

Well I went today 3/25/16 because me and my friends could not decide where to go to eat, but we drove by and decides to try it out. We went through the drive-thru because we were in a rush. When we pulled up to order the girl was nice and very knowledgeable about the food. We asked if they served raspberry iced-tea and she told us no , but informed us about the other tea options they had. They were tropical,black, and sweet green tea. Me and my friend decides on sweet green tea. When we pulled up to the window the guy took our money and and asked if we wanted sugar for the SWEET ICED green tea and we said yes. We thought he had offered the sugar because we might not like the level of sweetness. He handed over the drinks and sugar and I immediately tasted the tea and cringed. It was very sour and didn't have one single ice cube. We then waited over ten minutes for the drive-thru attendant to come back so we could ask for a cup with ice and more sugar because he had o LA given is 5 packs. When they returned we asked and the girl gave us the smallest cup they have with ice. And when they handed us the food, my burger was all the way at the bottom under all the fries. They are very cheap for the new burger spot in Bakersfield. The chicken club both my friends got was not good at all. I had a very bad first experience, but not everyone will have this experience and I know that. Who knows when...

Customer service was excellent!!! The employees are super courteous and helpful!! One stands out above the rest and her name is Rachel Villegas at the Bakersfield location on California Ave. I have never wrote a review or rated a place of business before, but she blew me away with great attitude and efficiency during the lunchtime rush. I overheard a couple people ask her if she was a manager and I couldn't hear her response so I had to ask her myself. Of course with a great smile she admitted that she was not. I feel like if she doesn't get a manager position then Habit will be doing her and themselves a great injustice. This type of person is what the service industry needs. I don't know this woman at all, but she just changed the game for all other places!! Thanks Rachel for your help with everything! We will definitely be coming...

UPDATE: Still AMAZING Thoroughness of service here, not only do they repeat the order they make sure it’s right! I ordered in the drive-thru today and Danny at the window was very impressive with his accuracy of my super complicated order. The Habit Burger is by far above average in quality and guest services when compared to other fast food chains. It’s service that you don’t get at big restaurants! Thank you California Ave Habit Burger!
