I have tried this place out several times hoping it will be better than last time each time I go but it just keeps getting worse. Biggest issue-the employees. A few have good customer service but most of them, especially the ones in the arcade are awful. They don’t smile or act friendly at all. If you ever have a problem or need help they act like you are just this huge inconvenience. Then they take forever to resolve an issue. So many of the games take your credits without letting you play the games. The last time I went I told my kids we would never go back. I spent $200 on credits. The first game my son played took his credits. I went to the counter where several employees were on their phones showing each other different videos I guess just laughing and socializing. I kid you not I stood there for about 15 mins before someone finally decided to do their job. So finally this guy comes over& says nothing, he just looks at me, so I told him that the game my son played took his credits &can he put them back on my card. All he says is “where’s your card?” He then walks back to the group talks to them then gets on the computer to add my credits back to the card. About 10 mins later he finally comes back over & gives me my card, again says nothing. Just hands it to me &walks back over to the little group of employees to talk. So I scan my card for my son to play a game& now it says I have no credits. Wtf? $200 worth of credits gone? So I go back to the counter again. Now there’s a line so I have to wait again. Same group of employees standing there&none of them would leave the conversation to help the lady in front of me. So I walk around to the other side of the counter&say excuse me is anyone going to help us? So that same guy walks over to the lady in front of me helps her& then I asked him what happened to all my credits? That my son just tried to play a game&now there is nothing on my card. Then this employee says to me “are you sure this is the same card?” I told him yea this is the one he just gave back to me. He looks at me like I’m lying and just stands there for a min goes and talks to another employee again, gets in the computer and scans my card and I’m guessing sees there is nothing on it now. Comes back to me and ask me again are you sure this is the same card? So again I tell him yea. Then he acts like he’s not going to do anything to fix what he screwed up. So he walked back over to the counter picked up another card and scans it. Then comes back over to me and tells me he accidentally gave me the wrong card and hands me the right one and walks away. Didn’t even apologize for his mistake. So the first 45 mins at this place was spent at the front counter trying to get someone to help me only to have them mess everything up worse. Finally, I take my son to another game and guess what happens….. scan the card and the freaking game takes his credits again and doesn’t let him play. Omg…. By this point I was so pissed off I didn’t even bother going back to the counter to get the credits back I just took my kids to play mini golf. Afterwards we came back in and tried the games again. Avoided the first two games, played a few more, then my son wanted to play ski- ball so I scanned the card and again credits taken but no balls came out so we moved on to a different game and I didn’t bother going back to the counter yet again to have them fix the problem bc I didn’t want to waste another 30 mins waiting on them to put credits back on my card but I did tell them that it didn’t work and they just said ok and went about talking with each other again. Then we get to the prize machine and what a waste. It was pretty much empty so my son finally found something he wanted and we go to have it dispensed and of course it is greyed out so we can’t get it. I could go on & on about how terrible this place is and how awful certain employees are but you get the point. We are just going to stick with Dave & Busters from now on. Way better games that aren’t broken& way better prize selection &Super...
Read moreTook my family to check it out for the first time last night (Saturday, April 6th). The arcade area was nice. Clean games. They have ax throwing, boats, golf, go carts for big kids, go carts for little kids, batting cages, corn hole, and connect four. Also, a bar/ food area. They also had a very good security presence. I was disappointed with the big kid go carts because the line wasn't that bad, but it took almost an hour for my kids to get on. Between each heat, a kid got to go by themselves around the track. I'm not sure what that was about, but it made it take forever. While waiting for kids at the go carts, a few of us went inside to get some French fries to snack on. We tried to order with the cashier because there was no clear direction on how to order menu food. She said we had to sit to be helped. Well, we sat for 15 minutes until my son got up and told a guy we were over sitting at a table. There were a few empty tables, so it wasn't super busy. He said he'll be over. When he came around the corner, he walked to a table that had just sat and had more people. 10 more minutes went by before a girl came over with menus. We told her we just wanted some waters and 2 orders of French fries. She said the cup or basket. I didn't see a basket listed on the menu but sounded like more, so I said basket (which because it wasn't on the menu I didn't know the price. Thought it might be double the cup. But it was $12.99.) 15 minutes later, we got 1 basket of French fries. I had asked for 2. I told the guy that brought it, never mind we'll just take the one. We hadn't received our waters. When the French fries were mostly gone, the girl came by asking if we needed anything and said, Oh yeah, your water. Finally got our waters. Waited 10 min for her to come back again to get our check. Why did we waste our time here for just French fries? Because that whole time, the other kids were still waiting to go on the go carts. The other thing that would have been helpful would be if there were prices listed for "$100=600 tickets" and simple break downs like that instead of having to math " I want this ride plus this ride, plus some games". We might go back again, but I'll make sure to ask for the server that was actually very attentive to his tables and...
Read moreI have mixed feelings about this place reopening after going to Camelot (the prior name). Overall though we had a great time there.
The good: there are now seats and misters outside to hang out in and drink/eat/watch, that is awesome. The food and bar are much improved from the paltry selections there were before. Also all the games in the arcade work! Which is nice since that can be rare with many places where half of them don't quite function correctly. The people there are nice and there's great service.
The bad: The name is atrocious - MB3, B2B, BRB, BM2, I've been there and I can still never remember the name of the place. It's very unexciting, unmemorable and makes no sense. At least the old name CAMELOT was fun. The current name is no fun. Speaking of no fun, the color of the building was painted grey... enough said there. The biggest disappointment was seeing that they tore down all but one of the structures in the mini golf course. They made the mini golf so much more interesting and fun (there's that word again). In the arcade all is great, except that there is a massive Taj mahal claw machine that takes up a ton of room, it's a waste of space, and it would be so much better if there were 2 or 3 actual fun games to play in that spot instead. There no classic video games, would be nice to have some of those - Galaga, PacMan, etc. Having to wear (and buy) a head sock to put on batting cage helmets is ridiculous. While the food/drink area is much improved, they WAY overdid it with the televisions. I felt like I was at NASA central command. I counted 11 TVs - I think 4 would be plenty. It was super distracting and obnoxious.
It seems clear that they are more interested in drawing in older people - teens, adults, work parties, and have removed many things that made this a great KIDS place. Even so, it's still a very fun time, great arcade, good food and drinks, the boats are still there and working better, and the go-karts are...
