Carl's Jr. — Restaurant in Bakersfield

Carl's Jr in my opinion always has good burgers, chicken sandwiches, and milk shakes. Like any fast food chain they are not all equal which means that some locations don't always serve the freshest food or they use old oil to cook with. That is not the case with this location. I ordered the #4 - Double Western Bacon Cheeseburger w/ fries & a coke and I upsized to large. I paid and used the restroom, when I came out a few minutes later my food was ready. I was a little surprised at how fast my food was ready. The fries were fresh, not sogg, hard or dry. The burger was good all the way around. The ingredients used were good, the bacon was perfect, the bun was perfect, the onion rings were perfect, and the burgers presentation was perfect. It's not often a burger served in a fast food chain resembles the the advertisement and menu.

I normally get a large strawberry shake to go along with my meal. This time I showed restraint and obtained. I still have to mention that their milk shakes are made with real hand scooped ice cream and you can taste...

From when I was a kid till now, I have always loved Carl's Jr burgers. The menu has gotten expensive, but I like the food so I didn't mind paying for quality. Unfortunately this by far was the first and worst experience I ever had at a Carl's Jr. The hamburger meat was dry and was not even warm. My order was wrong cause I ordered a chicken sandwich not a burger. The employee at the drive-thru only words were "anything else?" I guess it's part my fault for not checking my order, but I was on my lunch break and in a hurry. The food left a bad taste in my mouth so I dont think I will be eating at Carl's anymore. Worst experience at a Carl's Jr restaurant that I have ever had in my lifeOnline order through the app states that you drive up to the window and tell them your name and they prepared the orderThe server at the window argued with me that they did not have the order in their system even though the app shows that's how you're supposed to tell them it's there after showing her an email she questioned whether or not it was from that day. After 3 interactions one of which she stated she contacted her manger and would not give me my food and that a refund was not up to her that I needed to go thru the app she finally gave me the burger with "Next Time have an email."
