First I'd like to say I don't expect much from a Denny's. A quick and easy stop off the freeway with decent food to fill you up. Especially after 10 pm when there aren't many options for a place to sit and eat. When we walked in we were told it would be a few minute wait as they were short handed. Totally understandable and my wife and I are very patient and not in a hurry. So slow service was something we could deal with. We received our food and it was fine. Exactly what we expected. But after the server dropped off our plates and told us she was still waiting on the rest of our order we never saw her again. We saw other servers arrive for their shifts and serve the tables in our area. Customers came, ordered, ate, paid, and left why we sat unacknowledged. After being in the restaurant for just under 2 hours total I went to the cashier to ask to pay my bill and if I could get a to go box and to see if there was a way he could find out about our missing food. 10 minutes later after again not a single server stopped by I went back up to pay and we left. So again I was not expect 5 star service and a gourmet meal. I can be patient and fully understand being short handed. But not a single check in for drink re-fills or if we needed anything else was...

I'm not going to say I hated this place. I've eaten here before and have gotten better service. But today (September 14, 2016) was just not a satisfying experience. I arrived, picked my table, and had at first a decent and friendly server. I tend to be more happy if I get a really happy and great server when my daughter is also around. At first I thought it was good, until I ordered my food and coffee. When I was done ordering, other customers were sat down after me with different servers than mine. All served there coffees and other drinks, and then I got my coffee. A couple minutes after, the servers of the other customers sat down after me, came and pouring refills for their drinks and coffee. Not my table. My coffee cup was empty and waiting for another refill. I waited for at least 7-10 minutes, and my server didn't come. Needless to say, service today was just crap. It's the first time this has happen and now I already have a bad conception of this restaurant. I won't want this kind of service to myself(I've also worked in the food industry: fast food, fine dining), so when I say that, I actually can tell what is the difference between being busy and...
