Mountain Mike's Pizza — Restaurant in Bakersfield

Decided to order just before closing time. The person taking my order over the phone said no rush your Pizza will be here when you arrive. As such it was hott and ready for me a few minutes after their official closing time. Thank you for that great gesture and customer service. It had been about 10 years since I had Mountain Mike's in my old town and since moving to Bakersfield. But with that first bite it brought back all those great memories. And just know its still that great tasting pizza I remember since back when. But I actually feel like such a fool for having settled for less. All those nasty card board tasting pizza's... I just came from the Stockdale Location in Bakersfield, CA and I am not happy about it. Pizza wise, always great, but I made the mistake of ordering mozzarella cheesesticks. My marinara sauce was not in there, and no sauce for that matter, and they taste awful. They have a freezer taste, and they cook them in oil that tastes like those sweet cinnamon churros. I am not asking for anything, other than you please relay the message to not forget sauce, watch how they are cooked, and change out old freezer items.

Been ordering from this place for years but now their boss won't let them deliver to me anymore. I live 3.2 miles away from them but they all of a sudden can't be bothered! I ordered a pizza every week from this location and always give a good tip. Well if they don't want my money anymore then screw them. I'll take my business to the brimhall location which is 3.1 miles Away from me but are always nice and never give me any problem. I'm tired of giving my business to a place that doesn't value their long time weekly customers anyway. Their new boss sucks...
