Been coming to Sequoia for years and have always looked forward to the Club Deluxe. Piled with meat and bacon and an amazing onion Dill roll. But not today. Just plain sourdough, half the meat, and a couple pathetic pieces of bacon. Dry and flavorless. Definitely nothing deluxe about this sandwich anymore. I hope the new owners didn't change the other sandwiches much because they wouldn't be in business much longer. Here's a tip. If you're going to buy out a successful business and carry the same name and menu, don't change anything. At least the cookie didn't change. Still enjoyed that at least. Mom and I had their California pastrami featuring Sequoia’s Tender juicy and delicious Pastrami stacked “California Style” on a grilled French roll with melted Swiss, yellow mustard & pickles. Neither of us had cheese on ours but I think they have several cheeses you can pick from if you would like. This place is popular! The orders get filled pretty rapidly in my opinion and the staff are always so helpful and menu knowledgeable. So that is nice if you ask about customizing any particular order within reason. In two separate instances I've had the misfortune of finding foreign objects on my order. The first time I ordered a chicken Cesar salad and there was, what appeared to be, a piece of plastic wrapper inside the salad. It had the appearance of a plastic-like rope or string. The second time 10/18/2017, I ordered the same thing, a chicken Cesar salad, and this time there was a huge hair inside the salad.

While the staff is always courteous, the food comes out fast, this establishment seems to have major issues with sanitation. I tried giving them a second chance but I will no longer be a customer at the sequoia sandwich company located...
