this was my first time going here and unfortunately my overall experience was Mediocre with that being said the people were great. first of let me tell you that the menu is on the wall and you have to pay before you take a seat it feels more like a fast food restaurant this is definitely a different way of doing things then the traditional restaurant way. i find it really absurd that they would ask for a tip before giving me any service so i declined the tip option i tip based on performance not the meal price regardless i tipped 15% based on my bill at the end of my meal.
i ordered two plates for my partner and i both were 8 oz sirloin steaks (the original size is 6 oz you can upgrade to the 8 oz for an additional cost of $3.50 per steak and you can also upgrade to a different cut of meat but again for an additional fee) a lobster tail and 1 side i ordered mashed potatos as my side and my partner ordered the baked potato. I was very disappointed that they had no appetizers i can purchase. the appetizers fell into the salad bar category which is an additional $18.99 per person and its all you can eat. my meal came out to $98.00 not including tip i didn't get the salad bar either
My food came out pretty fast Which is a good thing. my steak had a very nice dry age flavor however the dry age flavor was getting overpowered by The sear on the steak it tasted pretty burnt and was a bit unpleasant to eat. my lobster tail was good flavor wise however it was a bit overcooked and it was very rubbery. i ordered my steak medium you be the judge for yourself based on the pictures i provided on how they did. the mashed potatos were alright nice and fluffy but nothing special.
It is important to note that I am comparing sizzlers to black angus and outback They are relatively around the same price and if i had to choose i definitely wouldn't choose sizzlers as my first option With that being said everybody's taste buds are different And food is subjective to everyone. it is unfair to judge a place based on one visit so i will give this place a second try and change my star rating if it improves or degrades on my next visit. if i had to rate it on my first visit alone i would definitely give it a 2.5 stars out of 5 with 2.5 being just alright it can definitely be improved in terms of value and food quality. you can get a steak and lobster tail and 2 sides for around the same price at outback so in my opinion this dish should of been $5.00- $10.00 less per plate and i would of been more satisfied with...

Read more04.08.2025 - I'd like to say that I live in Los Angeles and commute to work in Fresno and in Bakersfield, CA. I make it a point to dine here at this particular Sizzler because not only are the dishes so delicious; especially the Sirloin Tips, but my go to waitress MIRNA is most attentive, pleasant, professional, courteous and very delightful. I'd also like to mention that the manager LORENA is just as pleasant and certainly a hands on supervisor who I see helping MIRNA take plates out and covering the floor in addition to her managerial duties. Lastly, I'd like to mention Carmen who at the front counter knows my exact order upon my arrival and is very considerate and most pleasant. In short, the entire staff here makes you feel like family. I highly recommend this location and I will continue my most pleasurable dining experience here at this Sizzler with MIRNA, LORENA & CARMEN.
