Starbucks — Restaurant in Bakersfield

I was at this location about 15 minutes ago, and I’m beyond disappointed. I asked for 2 venti drinks without knowing that the $3 drinks were over at 6pm. I questioned the cashier (female, curly hair) about my drinks being full priced, she responded in a rude way. I asked her if she could swap my drinks from venti to a grande (keep in mind, I still haven’t even paid) and she said “well, she’s making them venti”. Okay? I want a grande drink, and the workers won’t acknowledge my request. She said $14 and some change before for my venti drinks, she opens the window back up and says $14 and some change again. I told her how it is possible that it’s going to be $14 for 2 grande drinks if 2 venti drinks were $14. She looked and me and explained it to me like if I was stupid, she still insisted I paid $14 for the venti drinks even though I stated I wanted grande drinks. When she finished explaining it to me she stated “ You get it now” like if I’m stupid or something. Ive worked in a fast food restaurant before, and I have never once treated a client with this time of disrespect. I’m also a nursing student and we are taught how to speak to individuals. Something Starbucks should implement onto their workers. This location has lost my respect and I will not be returning. Every time I come here they always manage to get my order wrong. I understand that between the hours of 8-10am is peak time and it’s usually busy. That’s why I always place an in store mobile order 5-10 minutes in advance so that when I get there it should be ready or almost ready. I get the same order every time and it’s frustrating that this location is so inconsistent with how they make their drinks. I usually order a hazelnut shaken espresso with oat milk just the way it comes. I do not add any modifications besides just adding a cold foam and they never give it to me shaken. It comes like the way a macchiato would come and it completely changes the drink, I am paying for a shaken espresso so I don’t understand why it never comes shaken. Another time I came and they did the same thing and they forgot to put the syrup so it tasted like just straight espresso and oat milk. Another time I came and they forgot to add syrup in the cold foam so it just tasted like milk. I don’t have the time to ask them to remake it most of the time because I only get a 30 minute lunch break. It just doesn’t seem like the team there is trained properly and if I DO ask them to remake it they are extremely rude and they STILL do not make it right. Ah yes, Bakersfield is the meth capital of the US. That being said, you can find someone who is homeless or on drugs by driving around for 5 min. I got a drink here and went to the restroom while I waited. Someone was in there. I finished my drink (about 10ish min later) and went to the restroom again. Same person responded they were in there so decided to wait by the door. A staff member comes up and knocks as well (at this point I'm sure it's a homeless person). Waited another 5 min (total was 20) and knocked again. The person started sputtering random stuff so assumed they were on drugs. At that point I just left as I wasn't sure if they were in the restroom to use drugs and didn't need to be in that scenario. There is a lock on the door with a code, but somehow the person got it. I'd be careful using the facilities here.
