Very disappointed. We only have In N Out every 6 months or so. The line is always so long. Tonight, I had a hard time finding the drive through entrance. It's different every time. The guy taking orders was non personable and read back my order so quickly, I couldn't understand him, but I didn't want to hold up the line. I ordered 2 cheeseburger combos. Animal style fries on both and only one burger animal style. Asked for coke on both combos. I got to the first window, again, the guy repeated my order too fast to hear. I caught him say "no onions" on one burger and asked, "did you say no onions?" He then said, "one of the burgers is animal style." So I said it was correct. Between the windows, I read the receipt and noticed there was only one coke. When I got to the second window, I asked the third guy about it and told him I ordered 2 combos so there should be 2 drinks. He then tried to charge me full menu price for a second drink instead of the combo price difference... I asked him if that would be the same price as a combo and he said it was close... close? I told him "nevermind, I'll take it without the drink." Again, to not hold up the line. He could have just offered a drink at no charge... 5 minutes later, I was home. Took the food out of the bag and immediately noticed the burgers were cold. After checking the burgers, I noticed the one that wasn't animal style didn't have onions. This was my pregnant wife's burger and she specifically told me she didn't want animal style because she wanted raw onions... if you know anything about a pregnant woman's cravings, you know they want what they want and are not happy if they expect it and don't get it. Luckily, we had an onion and fixed that. I started into my cold burger, I took 2 bites and on the third, noticed there was no more beef left, but I still had half a burg to go??? Where was the beef? It wasn't hangin out of the burg when I started. When searching for the missing beef, I noticed the last disappointment that solidified my decision to write this review. The lettuce was wilted, brown and slimy and the unripe tomato slice was the end piece with the stem still in it... the fries were decent and hot. But I've never been a big fan of their fries anyway... I won't be eating there again. Especially with the price gouging. $3.65 for a cold cheeseburger with rotten veggies and a tiny beef patty. $4.40 for sub-par fries with a slice of processed cheese...
Read moreThis review is basically like judging a diver with her legs open, they did a great job diving into the pool but at the end they left their legs open. I tend to keep my receipt so here we go, David O. Took my order at 5:24 p.m., very nice demeanor not rude and seems like he honestly cares. I get my food and I get in the car but the ketchup that he gave me has syrup all over it, so the first time I asked a girl to give me more ketchup without syrup and she's still gave me ketchup with syrup, I had told her that the syrup got on my food too and she just totally said oh I'm sorry and that's it. Then second time I go inside to get some ketchup our friend David here is looking off into space. I don't want to know what he was on but he did not listen to what I said. I came in and directly said to him The same thing about sticky ketchup, he shakes his head acknowledging what I said and then I asked him for napkins because he didn't seem to really care about the sticky ketchup. So I got napkins and came back to him and said do you understand what I'm saying The ketchup has sticky stuff all over it and then he acknowledged that he didn't wasn't listening or he didn't know what I said and didn't bother to ask but either way it was frustrating. In and out is always excellent food but the staff can be very irregular. I live in Washington State so you guys are rid me for now but I will come back for an inspection. So give David a thumbs up and a thumbs down. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
PS if you want to see a picture look below, the offending parties are still there and again it got all over my burger so I'm not eating that. That's really disgusting and in and out doesn't even have brown syrup so wtf is this that got on my...
Read moreThe love just wasn't there man. I hate to write this review. In-n-out has been my favorite for years. When I worked there many years ago I ate there every day. I have never stopped loving it. I have also argued with many a Texans about whether in and out or Whataburger is better. They're both good in my opinion. Anyway I stopped in this location after a very long drive. Customer service was good. The cashier that helped me was most excellent, maybe the manager. The reason why I'm giving three stars is because I felt like the food consistency was not there. Maybe it was because I got the fries animal style. The fries seemed cold and hard. I usually like the fries because they're a little soft and crispy. What really threw me off was one of the cashiers messing with her ear while talking to somebody that was at the Prep Station next to the grill. I don't think customers should be able to visibly see employees looking at hygiene issues. I also noticed that some of the employees were hanging out and talking to the working staff. The manager addressed that. I didn't complain, just observed. Now, it wasn't super busy inside but the drive-thru seemed to be slammed. Everybody didn't look busy, but the person on grill, manager, certainly did. It just seemed off. Some of the staff didn't seem up to the high standard I know...
