Starbucks — Restaurant in Bakersfield

I've been coming to this particular Starbucks for over 2 years now. Friends come and go like the wind changes directions but this Starbucks has been solid and my local favorite since I made it my home coffee shop in town. There are so many wonderful and well made coffees here it's hard to just pick one. So therefore I will pick my current favorite... Cold brew with salted cold foam, no Water. If your thinking it's a super sweet frappacino like drink, it isn't. It's definitely for a discerning pallet. Think of it as a very fine, aged and robust cognac with subtle sweet & salty head on top. It's very potent when you get it with no water and the staunch powerful aftertaste is what really keeps me coming back! The service at this location is really really on point. Service from Natalie is another foundational principle I return again and again. Her and the other top notch baristas really have their game faces on day in and day out....

I visited this location today. Placed an order via drive though. The barista Marissa was rushing me through my order, but kept failing to get the details of my order right.

I asked for a peach green tea no water and light ice. Before I was done saying my order, she asked “anything else?”. I saw my order come up on the screen missing the details. I continued with my order and added another drink. Again, in a rushed tone she said “anything else?”

I asked her to fix my first drink. I don’t understand why the rush. There was no line in front or behind me. And the store appeared to be empty when I got...
