Taco Bell — Restaurant in Bakersfield

There was a line of at least 6 cars in the drive thru and the staff had decided to close the restaurant. Keep in mind this was at 6:30 P.M. on a regular Thursday night. Not only did they close during normal business hours, they closed in the middle of a dinner rush, and failed to inform any of the customers waiting in line. We waited for about 20 minutes before finding out that they were closed. And that was only because we had to knock on the window for several minutes to get their attention. There were at least 5-6 workers in the building, standing around, doing nothing and ignoring their long line of customers. It was the worst experience at Taco Bell I’ve ever had and there was absolutely no reason for the store to be closed during that time. They couldn’t even give customers the courtesy of letting them know that they were closed. When we left, there was an even longer line wrapped around the parking lot, all of these poor people without a clue that the employees mysteriously closed up shop and they were waiting in line for nothing. Good ok, their taco salads aren't what they used to be, basically they are good for a fast burrito or taco...the day of our visit 3 Moms and 3 little kids under4 running around the whole place, moms not paying to much attention, the littlest one managed to get outside, mom had to run for her as she was already off the sidewalk, just saying, it's not always like that, just be prepared. I understand moms need to get together and get with other moms and visit, but take the kids to an inside play area so they can have some kid fun. Playing on the chairs can get boring I'm sure. I can not understand why consistently almost everytime I go to this location they forget part of my order!! This is food I pay for. No one wants to have to check their order everytime, or go inside, drive back because they are missing items. If you can't do your job properly you shouldn't have a job period!! ITS FAST FOOD NOT ROCKET SCIENCE. TAKE A ORDER COUNT BEFORE YOU CLOSE UP THE BAGS ITS THAT SIMPLE. THE RECIEPT SHOWS HOW MANY ITEMS, IT WOULDNT BE TOO MUCH MORE OF A STEP TO TAKE!!
