Discovery Church — Attraction in Bakersfield

I went to your guys church yesterday and it brought discernment to my spirit the whole entire time, it didn't feel like a church it felt like a comedy show with people there waiting to meet somebody to date. The pastor was very disappointing and if anybody wanted to find Jesus I wouldn't say you'd find him HERE at this church and recommend you go elsewhere. The pastor who came down from wherever cracked jokes and mentioned he smoked d0p3 and p0t in the past and was broke and told us his personal life . And i think when we go to heaven, we won't need to tell jesus WHO OUR PASTOR WAS BECAUSE THAT DOESN'T MATTER! The disrespect is real and the pastor saying " there is life and death when you speak so don't say all men are dogs or youll marry a husband whos ones and do doggy things" and we all know what that means, and you guys sing two songs and then talk about things that are a waste of time if i could give you guys 0 stars i WOULD! and you should teach your people that work there to greet everybody instead of just starring you guys are the worse church that I have ever been to. Been coming here a couple years now. Even when I feel like something went wrong, I talk to the people involved or open up to someone about it. I make sure others feel welcome around me because it's a team effort. If I didn't like something then I make sure I fix myself in the same manner and be an outward example of who lives in me. I thank this entire church for being who they are. I'm still growing in Christ and on of my daughters has behavioral issues. They minister to her every chance they get and communicate with me so I can talk with her and guide her on the right path. This place has counseling, celebrate recovery, and various groups available to different ages, men or women groups, mixed groups, online groups, you name it. Please if you had a bad experience, just talk about it with a leader. If you feel judged, please think again. Spend time with people. This is an amazing church organization. I felt very unwelcomed here at this church. I’ve been going for the last few weeks, unsure the name of the pastor, but I felt very judged by not only the pastor but also the community around me. I am a gay individual, have some of my hair dyed, and am single currently, and the pastor would be cracking very homophobic jokes, especially regarding marriage, and would talk about how “none of this would be allowed back in the day of the lord”. When he would say these things, the people around me would stare at me.
