My family and I came in today for dinner, as we often do ( Brimhall location). At the check out I showed my badge and law enforcement ID for the discount . The young, taller, Hispanic cashier girl said that only first responders get discounts and you have to be in uniform . I said I am a first responders and I’ve always gotten a discount before. She said well I don’t know. I didn’t want to hold up the line, so I said that’s fine and paid for my family’s meal. It’s not that the discount is so important but it’s the principle of the matter. And I always tip the amount of my discount to the cashier. And I still left her a tip this time. I always like to support local businesses but I felt disrespected by her as if I wasn’t telling truth even though I showed my ID and badge. I felt like she was trying to embarrass me and she could have asked a manager but she didn’t. After we left my wife felt that she was so disrespectful that she called to talk to the manager. The person answering the phone said “who is this” and sighed. My wife said a customer who just left. The manger got on the phone and said sorry but didn’t offer to make it right. This kind of service is unacceptable. I guess we should just go to Chipotle from now on b/c they never question my LE badge and ID. Read moreVery upset by our visit today. No only were the people infront of us treated extremely rude, we were charged for their burrito and when I tried to tell them I was yelled at. I was told "THIS IS THE RIPPED ONE!" I said "ok but it's not mine." TO which the lady counting cash scoffed WELL WHOS IS IT THEN? and I replied "I don't know but its not mine, probably the order infront of us" then she proceeded to complain and yell the person next to her "IM ALREADY STRESSED ENOUGH, THIS IS RIDICULOUS." 40.00 TO BE treated like trash. The people infront of us were basically ignored and had to ask for multiple items twice. The same happened to us. We didn't even get what we wanted because they were so rude. One male with tattoos and 3 females. All rude. Not one had a shred of human compassion today. As a God fearing company, I expect more. Lack of respect in your staffing really makes me not want to come back and we've been a supporting family of victors since they first opened. Sick to my stomach over the service we just received. My order wasn’t ready (a bowl and side of rice), which is okay I understand, because they needed make more rice and said it would be a less than 5 minute wait. The rice was made and brought out but the girls behind the counter continued to talk to each other. A girl finally started my order after 10 min of waiting but seemed to have an attitude, and I noticed they kept pulling items from the back and were more focused on cleaning and closing down than finishing up orders. The girl handing me my order seemed very short and rude, in comparison to the other customer she continued to have a conversation with the entire time i was waiting.
