FOOD- I had a fried buttered corn and rolled rice paper and brown sugar fresh milk and Meadow. The Meadow had a nice lemongrass smell to it, tastes good but needs just a little bit more sugar because it was a bit plain. Brown sugar fresh milk was perfectly sweet for me, the aloe vera topping tastes fresh and really good. Fried buttered corn was really well seasoned and good, had a lot of toppings in it (sliced sausages, a fried egg, onions and small shrimps). The rolled rice paper was good, rice paper was soft enough and the fillings inside it was mainly boiled egg, sliced mango, etc. HOWEVER, it was plain due to the lack of topping sauces such as chili sauce and vietnamese mayo. Needs to add these sauces. Plus, the rolls wasn't cut properly all the way thru which makes it super hard to eat since the rice paper is so sticky. Tried to bite it off and totally made a mess. SERVICE- I understand that it's newly opened and super busy and therefore there could be some mistakes. However, I waited over 30mins just for my stuff. The staff needs to make it clear where all the drinks and food would be left at for pickup after ordering because i got my food and one of my drinks on the left-sided corner, and nobody told me that the other drink (large size) would be left near the entrance. I was confused where did the...

Tealux Cafe in Ballwin is a charming establishment serves up delicious Vietnamese street food paired with an array of creative tea drinks that are both refreshing and innovative.

The Banh Mi sandwich toasted, giving it a delightful crunch that complemented the fresh, flavorful fillings. Each bite was a harmonious blend of savory, sweet, and tangy flavors, making it clear why this dish is a staple of Vietnamese cuisine.

But the surprises didn’t stop there. The street corn was nothing short of amazing. It was grilled to perfection, with a smoky flavor that paired wonderfully with the rich, creamy sauce and spices. It’s a simple dish, but Tealux Cafe elevates it to a whole new level.

The tea drinks were the perfect accompaniment to the meal that were both unique and satisfying. The creativity behind these drinks is commendable, offering a perfect blend of traditional and modern tastes.

The ambiance of the cafe added to the overall experience. It was cozy and inviting, making it a great spot for both casual lunches and special occasions. The staff was friendly...

Got 3 drinks, only one looked like what was advertised. The first drink was the honey jasmine boba tea, in the picture they advertise it shows that it brings small brown sugar boba and the black tapioca pearls. Asked the woman at the counter and she said it only came with the brown sugar boba so i proceeded to add the tapioca pearls for almost a dollar more. i get the drink and it only had the tapioca pearls so i asked about the brown sugar pearls and she said that this location didn’t bring it, after i had asked if it did and she said yes. the second drink was the taro drink, it’s advertised like it has purple balls and some chocolate drizzle, and tapioca pearls. when we get the drink it only had the tapioca pearls bc we had added it which was almost a dollar more. The taro drink did not bring the purple balls or the chocolate drizzle, which is advertised as if it does. The third drink was the dragon fruit tea and we added popping boba. Fortunately that’s the only one we received the way it...

This is one place that I stumbled upon on a grocery trip. It was a hot day and came in with a decently cooled atmosphere. For about 3 entrées and 2 teas, it came out to be about $48 (a tad pricey for my liking) but you definitely get what you pay for here. Definitely street food quality at its finest, though, the Popcorn Chicken could use some fried basil and more white pepper to give it extra oomph. The Grilled Pork Bánh Mì was fresh! But the marinade was a bit too much on the anise-y side. My favorite was the Luna (Lychee and Butterfly Pea Flower) Tea and the Fried Rice Flour Cake (Bánh Bột Chiên). So refreshing on a hot Summer day, it definitely cooled me down and the color was so pretty. The Rice flour Cake was cooked perfectly with crispy edges and a smoky omelette. Lots of shredded green papaya with garlic chips and a savory tangy sauce on the side. It was very satisfying. Tealux has big potential! Hope my advice will help. I'll be coming back again. Delicious.

I discovered Tealux through a coworker’s recommendation and it’s quickly become one of our favorite spots! The Luna Fruit Tea is so fragrant and flavorful. My husband, who’s been in the U.S. since he was 3, absolutely loves the rice paper rolls—the combination is amazing. Don’t miss the fried buttered corn 🌽—I thought it would be simple, but it’s now the first dish we crave when we come here. The rice paper salad is another must-try (I usually ask them not to mix it so I can enjoy it later at home). Popcorn chicken and fried rice flour cake are also delicious. We’ve visited multiple times and the quality is always consistent. Plus, the staff are warm, friendly, and super attentive. Highly recommend
