I wanted a steak for my birthday, 11/15 so my husband and I went to Texas Roadhouse. We didn't use the Waitlist but should have. Busy place for a Monday night. We sat at the bar until we got a table. Bartender was friendly and relatively quick. Corona was not very cold but the draft beer was. Went to the table they were still cleaning but got done quickly. The waiter, John, appeared pretty quickly and we ordered because we had enough time to decide while waiting at the bar. Just two filets with baked potatoes and salads. The steaks came out great, I was very happy about that. The salads were very basic and my house mixed ranch dressing tasted more like tartar sauce than ranch but it was tolerable. What irked me the most was that we never were offered any bread. We kept seeing tables around us have it brought out first thing but we had to ask for it and when it came, of the three rolls for two people(what is that, that you have to split a roll for two people) two were not done. There was some kind of flavored butter, maybe it was cinnamon flavored but tasted bitter. The one roll was very good but at that point we were about done with our meal. I know this is a long review for a chain steakhouse but I hope it helps anyone who is trying it for the first time. the meat was good. Sides were very normal but the service and the atmosphere are what you should expect of a chain restaurant. I gave this a 4 star because it was for my birthday which I haven't gone out on in 2 years so I was in a good mood. Service was very disjointed and multiple people brought things out to us. I might go back for the meat but will sit at the bar and make sure I get rolls that are done.

So I just dropped my five stars to one. I left my original review at the bottom from quite a while ago. The last several times we have been here we have been sooooo dissapointed and frustrated. Our meal is never correct. The waitress blames the kitchen. The manager blames waitress. We never have refills. Nothing is ever right or quick like it once was. It has nothing to do with covid as this began before covid. Tonight we went in and ordered to meals and sent the fish back because regardless of notifying the waitress of a food allergy and requesting none of this item on my meal it still came out covered in it. I sent it back, while the server was arguing with me, when I could smell the ingredient on the plate in front of my face. My other cut into their REQUESTED WELL DONE steak and just look at that picture. It was so raw it could still be alive. We never saw our waitress again. Not to check on anything. Not for drinks. Not for a bill. She just fell off the face of the earth. This was really bad. This location is officially as BAD as the arnold location. It doesn't get much worse than that. This is THE BEST TRH in and around STL. NO COMPARISON WHATSOEVER. All the staff is excellent. One time i was served my favorite salmon slightly undercooked.. i ate it ANYWAY. IT WAS STILL TOO DELICIOUS. Ask for the manager with the 'black sleeves' hes HILARIOUS AND AMAZING.

Dinner on a Thursday evening @6 P.M. no waiting, table for 6. I went into this with low expectations, I had been watching videos about Texas Roadhouse and all said that the salads were better than the steaks... With that being said, we started with the fried pickles, I found them to be most excellent. There was warm bread and cinnamon butter, and as expected was quite good also. I had a house salad with the honey French dressing. For a main course I had the 12oz Ribeye with loaded baked potato. The steak was ordered rare and they did a good job of delivering it as such. I found the steak to be quite good as well. The baked potato was good, but I would probably do fries or mashed potatoes next time. The rest of the table had everything from shrimp to chicken, with some more steak thrown in as well. There was no complaints from the table about the food. Everyone loved the fried pickles and fresh bread. I'd do it again.

First time coming to this Texas Roadhouse. Was disappointed from start to finish unfortunately. Host sat Me, wife, amd 2 kids at a small 4 top surrounded by booths' with not even enough room to open the menus. When I asked the host if we could get a diff table he says let me go check, comes back and says "No".

Luckily when the server came to the table I asked her and she said no problem and moved me another booth close by. The server greeted us quickly and got our drink order.

When we got our drinks I started drinking as usual. I guess my wife noticed the cups were disgusting. Like you could feel the food stuck on the glass everywhere. Guess I should have checked before I drank half of it. I'm disgusted at this point.

No bread for 10-15min. Specifically asked the server to get 2 butters when she brought it out. Wasnt to upset that their weren't any rolls available, I know they are a favorite here. While waiting for bread noticed plates still had butter on them. Gross!! No clean dishes, wonder how the food will come out.

Rolls finally came out, server didn't bring 2 butters only 1. Rolls are more like compressed pucks, obviously hadn't been prepped to rise. What a joke at this point. I also want to add that the booths' and sections look and feel just dirty. There's holes in the seats, cloth napkins look and feel really old.

When food came out plates were burning hot, kids burger buns are Rolls that haven't risen and are now hard from sitting I the window. I got the bbq chicken. Chicken. Was hard and not juicy anymore.

This will be the first and last time coming here which is unfortunate because it's the closest one to us. We have eaten at Texas Roadhouse for many yrs. Really unfortunate how bad things can get an no one...

Upon arriving, we elected to sit at the bar because this infers an expedited service and meal. After placing our order, we had the pleasure of watching four other clients arrive and get their orders placed and delivered. Had to ask for water. Finally, when inquiring with the manager what the delay was, we received an apology and an affirmation to check into the delay. We were told it would only be about another 10 minutes more?! And that they would cover our charges. That is not the issue. The issue is that we did not receive our meal, so after another 6 minutes we elected to get up and leave and during Rush hour by the time we got to the exit the manager was coming out with two of our meals in hand saying that they would be glad to box the meals up. I explained that this was then therefore infer that these were no longer the primary orders but they were take home or pick up and delivery and that's not what we came for nor that's not why we sat at the bar and watched for literally over an hour. Other people get served while we waited for our relatively simple order. The only thing that we consume during this time were the honey buttered rolls and a portion of a blooming onion which we deferred eating entirely because that would interfere with our main steak meal which we never received. Nice atmosphere. Great food when you can get it but profoundly poor management of the facilities and...
