This review will likely be ignored by Chipotle’s corporate office, but I am sharing anyway! This location is awful and poorly managed! My son and I ate this location yesterday. Despite what appeared to be a full staff, the line moved slowly and kept growing! The employee taking orders was nice but he seemed new and flustered. One of the women working with him kept pacing back and forth fussing about what others should be doing, yelling stuff to him, and pointing her finger instead of being helpful. The employee helping me kept saying, “Excuse me just a moment” while he would stop to confer with the ranting attitudinal co-worker. This happened three times while I was trying to order my food! It took far too long to place my order! I felt bad for the employee!
The food containers looked nearly empty. The employee had to scrape the rice container to fix my bowl, which was a red flag that my food would not be good. My son could not eat his chicken because it was very bland and inedible. My food was subpar and lukewarm although we ate it there. The chips looked and tasted stale! I had to spit it out! The tables were filthy. I had to use an antibacterial wipe from my purse to clean the table before we could sit! The front doors kept getting stuck. A man and his child were trying to enter but could get in. One of the employees was changing the trash bags nearby. She saw them but did not budge. Several nonchalant moments later, she barely pushed the door before storming off muttering, “I guess we’re closed! Just use the side door!” The man tried the side door but could not get in there either! Astounded, I started walking over to let him in, but a kid in line finally opened the door for the guy after a line full of people watched him struggle to enter. Next, the employees were behind the counter fussing and arguing while the line was getting longer!
The prices at Chipotle are too expensive to deal with low quality food and bad customer service! I have not had this experience in the suburbs. It saddens me that a location accessible to a large community of color does not provide the same quality service as locations in the county! Invest in your employees, provide better training, and oversight! The employees may have bad attitudes due to poor management and training! Most of the employees there yesterday seemed flustered, confused, and frustrated! Your employees deserve better working conditions and loyal PAYING customers should receive...
Read moreI’ve had a terrible experience at this chipotle ON 3/5/2023 . This is the second time I’ve had to complain this week. But this time is unacceptable!
Firstly, I’d like to say I love Chipotle but the service at the Chipotle Mexican Grill at 501 Bayview Blvd, Baltimore, MD is by far the worst I’ve ever received.
I do a mobile order with my BOGO coupon I had just received because they forgot multiple items last time I ordered, around 8:30pm. I go to pick it up around 9:30pm and when I get there my food isn’t at the pickup area. So now I’m waiting in the front waiting for a worker to come greet me for 5 minutes while they all laugh and joke in the back and one worker is out in dinning area. I ask about my food when one of the workers finally comes to the front. She nonchalantly shrugs her shoulders and says "I have nothing for you." I explain that I do not understand what she means. She repeatedly said the same thing. I explained to her I’ve already ordered this, paid for it online, and it should be made already and ready to pick up, to which she replied the same thing and says there's nothing she can do and offers me no alternative but sauces that are still out. Now I understand that it was near closing but my food was pre ordered well before close. Almost 2 hrs before closing.
I still don’t understand so I ask was my food given away or was it never made because it’s not making sense to me so then the other worker who’s in the dinner area chimes in and tell me I’m not listening to “listen, listen, listen.” Honestly, the bag that the employee in the dinning area looked like it could be mine.
Both of those workers need to be taught some etiquette or find a new job because the lack of empathy and basic customer service is shocking.
I Don’t plain on coming back to this location any time soon.
On top of it all, they are giving me a hard time till this day to get...
Read moreAll online orders take too long and when you get there it's not ready even when I arrived. Plus, I placed an online to go meal 20mins ahead and still wasn't ready when I parked to come get it. They prepared the online orders at the wrong timing, and I sat an extra 20 mins while other customers, dashers and their staff was either sitting there waiting until the app said the order was ready to go then they started making the orders in our faces. There's a lack of respect for people's time which I'd take my money back if I'd known in the app when the meal says it's done then it should have been on the shelf ready to go for me.
The food was okay tasting, but rushed as the order I had for steak wasn't at its peak temperature and the foil was little bent on my bowl. Its like most of their food is so-so and could be better customer service and the whole restaurant team needs a retrain.
Their time mismanagement as lunch rush hour began showed lack of experience and lack of preparation. If you saw more than 5 customers in line, they were clearly overwhelmed or didn't have a good system for their smaller capacity. Its a joke for me to even give the 2 stars since the line cook starts making the online meal after the app says it's ready since they have no idea how to function as a unit.
All I wanted was the cashback rewards for doordash on my biz card so I did an online pickup order. It's like you need to leave the neighborhood or go to a different place to get better service. I don't need to wait for food when I go to Jersey Mike's across from them.
Gladly, I now recommend getting regular chips and salsa before you eat so the warm meat texture...
