People make your way out and enjoy yourself and have some tasty yummy food in a beautiful setting with your friends and Yes! it's FAMILY FRIENDLY Small Business "Give K*mmmys a break"Come Support!! Prices are affordable Bravo!! I am very pleased with the savory yumminess that I am experiencing with every bite of my blackened salmon over shredded hash cover in Monterey Jack cheese and Cajun remoulade sauce garnished with spring onion a side lemon wedge.. Now ummm my vegan/vegetarian friends there is a very small menu choice for you for right now they are working on that The menu I'm posting does not show that they have a wonderful brunch menu that on the weekends include mimosas but there are French toast cinnamon rolls waffle other baked sweet treat to choose I wish I could have tried everything on the menu but my lunch break is very short and I will be going back on the weekend to try out the brunch menu The ambiance is very endearing and welcoming bright & colorful The space is open Lots of natural lighting. seating is positioned comfortably so that if there was a crowd you won't feel overwhelmed if you are dining in or taking out you will be greeted to find out your choice Very clean bathrooms (single stall) are very clean The space is wheelchair accessible and accommodating there are no steps lots of parking on the parking lot The staff was welcoming and very helpful in helping you navigate their menu options. Please be mindful and courteous that the food is being prepared this is not a buffet type setting You will be waiting for a chef to prepare a wonderful meal for you. I wish I had more photos to show but I will be relying on you all to show us those yummy French toast because I only can't eat a slither so help me out with some beautiful pictures people come support bon appetit🥳 HOME SWEET HOME CAFE& BRUNCH ❤️ FYI I do not put filters on photos I want you to see the real deal

Upon first impressions I was amazed at the ability to take an old Wendy’s and turn it into something quite simple. When I walked in I was surprised to see a live Dj playing some really good music definitely needed while waiting for a table for 3 to become available. Which I was told by the host that it will be an hour and a half wait. (I would recommend making reservations) The staff was really friendly and polite, everyone that was waiting was offered some cold water by the host. They’re still working out some of the bumps considering this restaurant is almost a year old, but I wouldn’t let that discourage you from trying it out. I had the Lamb Dinner which came with two sides and a honey butter biscuit. I didn’t realize that I didn’t receive my biscuit but I probably didn’t need it anyway. The sides I chose were the hand cut Cajun fries and sautéed kale. My meal was delicious and flavorful. The Lamb was juicy and well marinated it sat atop a bed of the sautéed kale which took the flavor of the kale over the top for me because the kale was delicious on its own. The fries came with a Cajun dipping sauce which actually tasted good with everything that I had on my plate. I’m going to give them an A plus when it comes to some of the portion size. My sister on the other hand may give them an A minus for the portion of shrimp she received in her shrimp and grits but it did not lack flavor. This may possibly be a family owned restaurant but I forgot to ask the owner, who was also polite and apologetic for the lengthy wait time. I would suggest that if you’re looking for some good down home cooking, Home Sweet Home is a place that’s worth checking out.

First Time Customers!!! 📍Customer Service- 😩🤦🏽♀️ we decided to try Home Sweet Home Cafe for my Husband’s birthday. When we walked into the restaurant we weren’t sure if it was a waiter to escort us to a table or if we could sit anywhere. We asked the young lady at the counter and we were advised that we could sit anywhere. Once seated a gentleman walked over and asked us if we were comfortable with scanning the QR code to order and another young lady brought up water. Once we placed our order with the QR code we sat and talked for about 45min until we noticed that I never received the drink I ordered or the food. No one came over to check on us or to provide a status on the food. After an additional 15min went past we flagged down the gentleman that asked us about scanning the QR code, we mentioned that we haven’t received the drinks we ordered he just nodded his head and went back to what he was doing. We sat and waited patiently and after an additional 5min of already waiting an hour our food came out as well as the drink I ordered. We also noticed that the folks who arrived after us received their food before we did. They were also offered drink refills etc..No apologies, no thank you for your patience, sorry for the wait.. Nothing! For $85 worth of food and over an hour wait we hoped that it would be good. 🍽️ Food Board for 2 which includes Waffle, French Toast, Berries and Fried Biscuits Honey Jack Wings Scrambled Eggs Side of Bacon Strawberry Margaritas Thankfully the food did not disappoint, everything was delicious. ✨Ambiance- The decor is nice, they really brought the old Wendy’s building back to life. Loved the color scheme 🅿️ Plenty of free parking on the lot

As a strong supporter of black-owned businesses, I was eager to try this spot after catching wind of it on TikTok. However, my visit turned out to be an unfortunate disappointment. The issues began right from the entrance. No one gave us a welcoming nod or acknowledged our presence. The front person was engrossed in a phone call, and the server seemed to be in their own world, shuttling between the dining area and the kitchen without a glance our way. We had to practically shout for attention – not the warm start we expected. Seating was a saga too. The table was dirty with no silverware in sight. After alerting the staff, another employee finally attended to it. Yet, the struggle continued as we waited over ten minutes for a waitress, even after attempting to make eye contact with the server. It reached a point where, once again, we had to take matters into our own hands and ask for assistance, only to be told we needed to scan a code to place an order. A heads up on this would have been appreciated. For a "sit-down restaurant," the lack of service was unexpected. Despite these hiccups, the redeeming factor was the food; it managed to salvage the overall experience. However, I've shared my less-than-pleasant encounter with others, stating my hesitancy to return. If I do, it would strictly be for carryout and no other place to go. On a positive note, the server did apologize as we were leaving and sought our feedback. So this should not be a shock since I am not the 1st reviewer to state the same. I hope this serves as a constructive learning experience for the establishment.

Came here in February for brunch and was pretty impressed with how much of a lovely and modern revamp they've done on an old Wendy's! First off; -I love the decor, so unique, cute and boho. -Black business, with black staff, we LOVE that -The food was EXCELLENT! Presentation, seasoning, portion size was just so good. Everyone at my table really liked the food. I'm still thinking about those shrimp and I'm not even a grits fan, but they've converted me lol. I got the Southern Style shrimp and grits which was $23, Blueberry Lemonade which was $5 (a bit overpriced for the size and for no refills but tasted delicious! I loved the glass it was served in), and (5) fried Oreos for $7. Everythanggg was good!! -You sit as a group and you have the opportunity to pay separately on your phone (you scan a QR code linked to your table where you browse the menu, select your food, tip, and pay). -Customer service was good. Everyone was polite and friendly. Servers were very attentive and helpful. Some things to be aware of; -Sundays are crowdeddd. Expect an hour wait, if not a little bit over that. Try to get there before 12:30pm, it could make a difference. (Being crowded is a good thing tho, it's well deserved and I'm glad people are supporting them). -They will contact you when your table is ready -The only thing I wish they had was a reservation system. I think it might help. Using something like open table could be helpful and then if they wanted to accept walk ins, they could. I can't wait to go back, I highly recommend as a brunch spot or anything else!
