M8 is the best place to grab a quick ice cold delicious beer with friends, watch a rugby game, celebrate Australia day, or have a 1-year old birthday party. This place seriously can do it all, and the entire staff, from the ownership down, is unbelievably accommodating and are genuinely amazing people.
The beer list has a lot of options for every mood or preference, light to dark, mild to hoppy, and every single one is a solid banger. Try the Brumby Blonde or the Whitsunday XPA (it's not that hoppy - it's just delicious).
The food is always delicious, comes out fast, and never disappoints. I was about to list a few of my favorites, but I couldn't decide among the fried pickles, brussels sprouts, chicken wings, cauliflower wings, pork/chicken/cheesesteak sliders, brat, or sausage roll. If I didn't list it, I haven't tried it yet. I haven't had anything I didn't like.
Where else can you find a place like this in the heart of Baltimore, with ample FREE parking, outdoor seating, a great selection of amazing cold beers that are brewed on site, 5-star food, a dog friendly/kid friendly taproom with plenty of space and seating, and a staff that makes you feel like you're at home.

Read moreM8 Beer is definitely worth a stop if youâre looking to try some interesting brews in a laid-back setting. The atmosphere was spacious, clean, and had a good energy without being too loudâperfect for a casual drink or hangout. There were 4 TVs near the bar playing sports, which added to the relaxed, social vibe.
The staff was super friendly and welcoming, offering samples and answering questions without pressure. I appreciated being able to try 5 oz pours, which made it easy to sample a few beers without committing to a full pint.
I came to check out the beer specifically and really enjoyed the Morning Mugs collabâa smooth coffee milk stout that was flavorful without being too heavy. I also tried the Outback, which was another solid choice. Attached a beer menu photos for other options.
Although I didnât get to try the food, the menu looked great and reasonably priced (attached for reference). Iâll definitely be backâwhether itâs for more beer or to check out the food next time. Great...
Read moreWas at M8 in Jan 2025 and returned 6 months later to find all Australian identity has been stripped away. The beef pie is gone, and the sausage rolls are now an Americanized "cheese steak" monstrosity. No footy, cricket, or Aus Open on the TV (a basic Fox Sports subscription would be nice), and instead of the lovely Triple J jams we get generic American country music. This place is 100% an American bar now. I hope it returns to its roots, adding back the pies and proper sausage rolls, a chicken parm, and some beetroot and fried eggs to the "Aussie" burger would be the bare minimum. A customer brought in an Aussie shepherd and it was the most Australian thing about the place. A severely disappointing downgrade from just 6 months ago. No character left, no representation of any Aussie bar culture, just another of the dozens of American bars that already saturate the...
