Ok I’ve been coming here for YEARS! I’ve been loyal to this place and it’s just not the same. It’s been my go to place especially during football season. They use to have $55 all you can eat crabs. The crabs were the BEST! It has turned into $70 half a dozen (they were for the XL which is still very pricey) and they were very subpar very under seasoned and about half of them were bare. One was mushy and I had to send it back and get a replacement. But before we get there…….
I was COMPLETELY thrown off by the way I was treated. Annoyed. To the point I actually called the manager (I don’t do stuff like this like ever). I’ve bartended for 5 years (years ago so I get it) but I walked in around 1pm game day noticed there were 2 seats at a high top (the bar was completely occupied with people standing around it) but the tables that required hostess seating were surprisingly completely available and hadn’t been filled yet, went to the hostess stand to be sat at the high tops…. Im immediately sat. It’s 1:05 the waitress comes over gives me waters and menus and asks if I would like a drink I ask for a second I tell her I may get crabs I’m waiting for my friend we may get them together, I’m waiting for her to arrive. She says ok and leaves. I’m on the phone with my friend who is leaving the tailgate and trying to find the Lyft that I called for her (I’m trying to text the driver and I’m on the phone with her if you can imagine how difficult that is) and they’re having difficulties finding each other. I’m still on the phone when the waitress comes over had to be about 7 mins later so maybe about 115 she says you’re ready for me to start an order for you? I’m like I’m sorry no not yet…. (Still on the phone) I’m trying to help her get here give me a second. She walks away. The hostess walks up to me with the nastiest attitude it’s 1:20 yall (so I’ve been sat for 15 mins TOPS), there’s an empty high top in front of me and two empty high tops behind me at least 4 empty tables on the floor enough to sit at least 50 people, she says to me we need you to put in an order or leave because we have a waiting list and people can use these tables. I was so heated. All of these tables are about to be occupied for at least three hours by the same people for the game. I believe my waitress went over and told her that I just wanted to sit and watch the game with no expectation of buying anything? That’s dumb! I was like I was helping my friend get here she’s on her way I was going to order. She said ok. We need you to order.
I don’t like this “hurry up and buy attitude” I asked for the supervisor. It was 1:27 when he was at the table. Is it customary for your guests to be asked to hurry and make an order within 22 mins of them being sat even though imma be here the next THREE hours. That’s not what I asked him though. I just explained the situation, he was nice, not sure if he said anything to her. But that whole encounter with Alicia the server (red hair white girl) and that hostess (wish I knew her name she had a nasty scowl the whole day) was nasty and uncalled for. I still tipped her better than she deserved $40 on $129 tab. But I will never sit with her again. I will make it early enough for the bar or just sit my tail down stairs.
The DJ was also good when I first came in I don’t know if they switch DJ second half or the DJ became lazy because it was not giving. The DJ also use to play music during Timeouts and when we had TDs he we not doing that this time around. Idk. The vibe just not the same. Ehh I’m trying watershed. I’m trying. Get it together. Also didn’t get pics of the crabs and my views of the tvs weren’t great because we were in the corner. I was annoyed the whole time lol. Shrimp was good...
Read moreLong Post Alert!!! WATERSHED Baltimore, you all will forever have my business! Yesterday, 03/03/2024 we planned LAST MINUTE to celebrate my daughter's 19th birthday with brunch. We initially had plans at another restaurant in Baltimore, but due to CIAA weekend, they didn't seem like the best fit for my baby girl. I called Watershed Restaurant at 11:35 am to request a reservation for my birthday girl and crew. We were immediately helped with a 1:30pm reservation with EASE. We arrived to the location and were immediately sat downstairs to begin brunch. I had a few minutes to find parking, so I walked in a little after my daughter and crew had been sat. She said they were seated downstairs because there was 45 minute wait for the upstairs rooftop seating. Now e had been here in July (another amazing service day) and the seating upstairs was top tier. I just walked up to to try my luck at being seated upstairs since we were still waiting for 2 others to join. Ms. ANNEMARIE was SO VERY accommodating to our party of 9! She said "bring the crew up, we can seat you right now!" The restaurant was extremely busy for this Sunday brunch, yet we felt like the only patrons in the building. So, Ms. AnneMarie, I thank you! We sat outside on the gorgeous patio and was serviced by THEEEE BEST WAITRESS I have had in a long time, MILLY (I hope I spelled your name right). Milly was the most attentive, kind, sweetest, and on her ** waitress! As formerly mentioned, we were there for Sunday brunch at an hour that seemed the busiest, but we did NOT feel it. We didn't feel rushed, everything was explained to us as far a the kitchen cut off time to order brunch, and when there were back ups or prolonged waits, Milly came and effectively communicated that to us. Now I watched Milly take care of almost EVERY table on the patio, (approximately 6-8 tables) and she did it without breaking a sweat and carried a smile on her face the whole time. I cannot say enough about the service we received from Milly and the accommodations from Ms.AnneMarie from the moment we walked in. I know I don't have the power to give either of them a raise, but they sure deserve it. We need more people in restaurant business like this. It truly goes a long way! I will be back ladies, and JUST FOR YOU!!! Thank you for everything, it hasn't gone unnoticed, and if I can send this somehow higher than a google review please contact me!!! && yall, the food is AMAZING!!!

Read moreMy family and I had a reservation today at 3.15 pm, since we got there the service was already bad, we waited around 5 to 10 for a boast to ask us for our reservation when they finally took us to our table we order our drinks and around 10 to 15 min later we place our food order, we had to wait a lot because they did not have anything that we wanted to order from the menu, server told us that they food truck did not arrived yet, so we have to order again and change food to what they have available at the time. We order 5 different plates and only 3 of them made it to our table, after waiting like 20 min for the last 2 plates we approached the server and asked how long did we have to wait for the rest of the food, she was very confused and went and get info. Came back later to tell us that there was a co fusion on the order and that one of the chefs said we couldn’t order the steamed seafood platter, she told us that they were making our food and because of the wait that was going to be on the house, after another 10 min a man with a hat came to the table to Apologize for the wait and told us because of the time we have been waiting they were going to give us another round of drinks on the house. We keep on waiting at 4.50 pm we were still not given our food and we ask the server she look confused again and left without saying anything, we waited another 10 min and since she never came back we went and ask for the check to pay, I imagine it was another person from management and said that they thought that someone came to tell us they couldn’t make the plate that we wanted and she started to apologize and went and grab the check, after 2 hours of being there and only half of our food came they brought and we pay and left. Food was ok but service was HORRIBLE, they did not have most of the items in their menu also they were terrible communicating with us, every time we got an answer it was because we had to go and approached them. I wouldn’t recommend this place, they do not care about their customers and are very Disorganized, the lack of communication between their crew makes it even worse.
