I am totally obsessed with snowballs from One Sweet Moment. Their shaved ice is a bit denser than others I have tried, more like finely ground ice crystals that don't melt too fast, allowing you to enjoy the actual snowball and not end up drinking it like those from other shaved ice stands. They have well over 150 flavors/combinations to choose from but so far my favorites are black cherry, blackberry and egg custard and I usually get the Hershey's french vanilla ice cream added to the bottom of my snowball (it brings back memories of my childhood trips to the snowball stand on Walther Blvd. with my grandmother) but their marshmallow is also delicious. Parking can be tricky and the line long at times but they move very quickly and their system of giving you a numbered ticket when you pay for your purchases keeps things moving smoothly, the longest I have ever waited from start to finish is under 10 minutes - and trust me when I tell you it is worth...

On top of the fact that they switched the point system and never reinstated my old points even after contacting them about it and them reiterating the same verbiage on the sign when that’s not what I asked, I was almost charged $15 for 2 large snowballs, 1 of them with added marshmallow. Once I realized what had occurred I removed the marshmallow and it dropped to $10. Why? I’m glad you asked! I ordered berries and cream and was charged for cream, marshmallow and a middle fee. How are you charging me for cream when the flavor is berries AND cream? Not the cream is a la cart. Then adding a middle fee for $1 which randomly popped out of nowhere over the last couple of years starting at $.50 then raising the price of marshmallow fluff to $1.25.
