Pure Raw Juice — Restaurant in Baltimore

Pure Raw Juice was once my favorite place to get açaí bowls. I would go there every single day since the opening of the Canton location. I had an incident with my brother being a diabetic and he had horrible symptoms after finishing only half of a bowl and had to take insulin and we almost called the ambulance. He has NEVER experienced anything like that with eating only raw fruits and granola as are the only things they say they put in this bowl. I’ve asked many stores repeatedly for more nutrition facts, most importantly sugar content, so this doesn’t happen again. I’m constantly told to look online and it’s not there and so on Tuesday, July 19th, I decided to go in-store again and asked to speak with the manager. Her name is Jennifer. I asked why it’s so difficult to find the nutrition facts and if they exist and she said they must not have any and I said that it didn’t seem legal. I asked for her name and waited for my açaí bowl. Shortly after, I can hear her screaming in the back about me and making a complete fuss about the fact that I asked for her name. I believe I heard her use some choice words that I won’t go into. Extremely unprofessional and it’s so sad to me because I absolutely loved Pure Raw Juice I just wanted answers so that my brother might enjoy a different bowl or to know that he’s not safe to order anything from there. This location is beautiful but has poor customer service. I have been a customer of various locations from day one , and was excited when this location opened because it was closer to my home . At first things were good , however a week and half ago I went in to order the traditional bowl on Sunday at 4:45 right before closing. The bowl was terrible and like water . I immediately called back the next morning becasue the store was closed when I tried to call on the day of purchase. The lady who answered the phone had the worse un welcoming tone , once I tried to explain why I was calling , she rudely cut me off and said I needed to speak to the manager on duty on Sunday and that I should have called back then . I tried to explain that the store was closed once I got in the car to eat my traditional bowl , she cut me off and said there was nothing she could do . I asked for a manger and she rudely said that she is the manger . I asked for her name and I think she said it was Jennifer . I told her that I have never encountered this level of poor service. I want to start off by saying that the smoothies here are overall great. I loved the one I had. However, the situation itself was when I wanted to go out and enjoy a treat with my little brother. Upon entering we were greeted with multiple turned up faces like we didn’t belong and the cashier who looked as if she did not want to be there while speaking in a monotone voice. I admit my appearance was not great because of the rain and it messing up my hair but nonetheless it was not a good feeling. When it was time to get our smoothies I thanked the lady for making them, but the unnecessary side eye and look up and down was not needed.
