Watch how they prepare your food to go if you don’t want to get sick. Although the food is better here than at the Towson location-their younger staff needs retraining on cross contamination. I don’t think they understand what that is. I did not see any usage of hand sanitizer before touching food or at least putting on gloves.
Walked in and placed an order to go. A young female (who wasn’t wearing her mask properly, under the nose) had taken the order while breathing all over your food. I wanted to vomit when she gave me my plastic cup and stuck her bare fingers inside the interior of the cup (I ended up wiping her germs with a napkin on the inside but should’ve just asked for another cup while pointing out to her for learning purposes what she had done).
She then touched her ear or somewhere on her face.
Then she touched the inside of the pizza box that was going to hold my slice of pizza all over with her hands as she spread out the tissue before putting the pizza on. Again, I wanted to vomit. Couldn’t she have used gloves? I’m not coming back to this location for a while. Hopefully they will have staff that is more cognizant about cross contamination.
Update: 3/31 went here last week after work to try again and disappointment just continues. Maybe at the end of the day you get reheated food from earlier in the day. Whole large pizza was burnt at the bottom and Caesar salad had no Parmesan cheese. Instead they disguise it as crushed croutons. You try to call to complain and they don’t answer the phone. I’m...
Read moreThis was my first time going and I was beyond disappointed. First, the man who took my order didn’t have a mask on, however, the other waitstaff did. I told him I was there for pickup and all he said was “ok”. He didn’t tell me if my order was ready, or anything. He waved me aside and a young woman brought me my food. Speaking of….I ordered the shrimp Alfredo, 10” personal pepperoni pizza, and a garden salad with house vinaigrette. The Alfredo literally had 4 tiny shrimp with about 3/4 of pasta. The sauce tasted and smelled like paper mache. It was very gloopy, and I could taste raw flour, meaning they did not properly cook their roux. There was also absolutely no flavor and the penne was so gummy. The pizza crust was dry, hard, and had no flavor. Cardboard with sauce and cheese on it. The vinaigrette was so brash and tasted like straight distilled vinegar. No good olive oil, dash of Dijon mustard for emulsification, and no spices. Lastly, the garlic bread was also hard and barely had any garlic butter on it. This was a terrible food experience and I won’t...
Read moreThe selection of what to eat for Italian-American fare is vast. I usually get the Spaghetti Pizza: a monstrous slice of thick deliciousness filled with spaghetti noodles and sauces--mmmm!
But today I decided to pass on the gluten and try a salad. While my wife ordered the Manicotti, I ordered the Bocelli Salad with cubes of feta atop a sliced grilled chicken breast and bed of lettuce and red onions. The dressing is a balsamic vinaigrette and we ordered to go.
My wife said her manicotti was heavy on the salt, but good.
As for my salad... It took me about 10 bites to uncover a tomato chunk (1 of about 5) and an olive (1 of about 6). And I may have put too much dressing on, but the salad was delish! I will plan to get it again!
The missing star is due to the lack of hospitality. The young ladies who served us seemed like they didn't want to be there. But the...
