I had to give them 1 star to write a review. They are always out of something let’s start there. Placed an order on the app for pick up. Of course when I get there my order isn’t ready. I ordered a lemonade with my order and the cashier asks 1 of the staff member was there anymore. He tells her that the manger says not to put anymore out. It’s 8 o’clock and they don’t close until 10p. He then turns around and pick up a lemonade next to the trash, and tells me it’s been covered all day. He offered me a drink from another order that had been sitting from what he said all day. Then the girl making mobile order's starts to make my order I ask for pita crips she tells me that are out. I look up at the back wall over the prep station and there is a larger container filled with them. I asked for the free pita she says they re out of them too. I then say well I will get some pita chips. The cashier gets my pita chip rings me up and hands me my change mind you she had gloves on because bagged up my pita chips. While at the register checking my order. I watch her with those same gloves proceed to put her hands in the whole bowl of pita chips to get the lady after me some pita chips also. I say to her you just handled cash with those gloves and then picked pita chips for this lady that is nasty. She told me no I didn’t, I wiped my gloves on my pants. I asked for a manager and told her what happen. She asked if I wanted my food made over I told her just give me a refund. Which because it was purchased on the app I had to request it through the app. I then told her that was fine but I paid cash for my pita chips. As the manager is processing my refund. The cashier is still handling cash and food with the same gloves with the manager standing right next to her. Also I’m watching the girl doing the mobile order places order over the trash before placing them on the shelf over her work station. As she is cleaning up the station she places some trash in the trash can, but then takes her hand with gloves on and pushes the trash in the trash can because it was overflowing. She then proceeds to make order with those same gloves she just pushed the trash down with. I addressed that also. The manager had to tell her to change gloves. She talking had an attitude about it too. That place is the worst Cava ever. Their sanitation practices are horrible. The health department needs to be...
Read moreI'm extremely dissatisfied with my order I received from Cava this evening with major ingredients missing. I wanted to order Cava for dinner this past Thursday evening, but while attempting to place my order around 7pm, I was restricted to what I could put in my bowl as they were out of so many items on their menu; romaine lettuce was the only greens option, and many toppings (tomatoes, corn, broccoli, cucumbers) were all out of stock. I figured it was the end of the week, and perhaps they didn't get their shipment.
Today, I made an effort to order dinner again. This time I was placing my order around 7:45. Similar to Thursday, many items were out of stock, but I decided to try some new things outside of my typical order because I really wanted Cava. I guess they must have ran out of everything between receiving and making my order because it came to me protienless with one of my three requested dips. It was literally the lightest, most sad looking greens and grains bowl I have ever seen! No harissa dip, no crazy Feta dip, no honey harissa chicken- which I was upcharged $2 and some change for! Whoever made what was left in the bowl (rice, greens, olives, feta and tzatziki) was crazy stingy with ther portions, as I was still hungry, looking for more to eat at now 9pm, after eating my weak bowl.
I know I am ordering my food kind of late, but I would expect a restaurant that stays open until 10pm to still have a majority of the items on the menu 2+ hours out from closing. They could have a least provided some sort of alternative proteins on the side, with a note or something simply because I had to pay extra for meat I never got. Crazy! Won't be ordering from here again and I wouldn't if I were you, either.
*Update: I guess the joke's on me for not reading the reviews before I ordered. I just looked through them and they pretty much all say this same thing and have for months. Pathetic! Do better...

I had it this time as there is one employee (who was not wearing a name tag otherwise I would be posting it) who has a horrible attitude and is extremely rude every time I have been to this specific Cava. She is constantly skimping on multiple items, and any time I order double chicken she attempts to skimp. I've had to tell her three separate times double chicken = 4 scoops, and she rolls her eyes at me, tries to fight back, and eventually gives me the portion I actually ordered. This time I had it - it's standardized portions and I don't know why I have to correct her every time and get a rude response/answer when she tries to give me less scoops for a DOUBLE STANDARDIZED PORTION SIZE of 4 scoops. I spoke to who I believe is one of the managers today (she was at the counter training a new employee at the register) who was apologetic and confirmed a double portion is 4 scoops. The manager claimed "oh she must not know 4 is a double portion" which I was completely shocked at. How is that the response? The manager was nice, but that is not an excuse, and is clearly not true - if one portion is 2 scoops, a double portion is 4. That is just logical, not to mention this portion is POSTED on CAVAs website publicly. The manager didn't want to talk to her right then and said she would talk to her later, which is also not appropriate; this girl was doing multiple online orders, and skimping HEAVILY on each one. I visually saw her doing this and by the manager not speaking to her and allowing her behavior to continue, she is allowing her to scam multiple customers who are trusting the restaurant enough to order online. If the trained employee "doesn't know" a double serving is 4 scoops, that means she has scammed every customer since the time she has worked there.
