Ordering from this restaurant was one of the worst food experiences I’ve had. Really sad to write this because I love supporting vegan spots- but this was a wild experience.
Placed my order at 1:15pm and got to the store at 1:55pm to give time on a Saturday to make the order. Walked in to many angry customers and the workers saw and ignored me. I finally got the attention of a worker. They told me they were having technical issues with orders so I tried to be understanding (I was very kind throughout this entire ordeal bc I had compassion that mistakes happen). They said they had to print the orders to make them and walked away from me. Not knowing what that meant or if my food was being made, I finally got the attention of the manager. They let me know one of the items I ordered was not sold at the location, but they couldn’t give me a refund. So trying to be understanding and flexible I asked for a replacement item that was not as expensive as the food I paid for. Due to not being able to get a refund I asked for a drink to make up some of the cost and the manager was ok doing that. They had not started making the food up until this point. I waited around 30 minutes for my order and when I got to my car decided to check the order and 3 items weren’t in the bag. I had to go back in and wait another 10 minutes for the rest of my food. It took 2 hours for me to finally leave with my entire order from when it was placed to when I got the last bit of my food. Once I finally got home, I realized that things I paid extra for were not even on my sandwich. Overall so disappointing and I lost money because I didn’t receive multiple things I ordered.
The food was honestly not bad, but wasn’t good enough to make this experience worth coming back.
The manager was kind but seemed undertrained which I blame the company for- not the employee. The staff overall was clearly undertrained and understaffed. Really all I saw was a business that did not set their employees up for success and they were frazzled trying to do their best in what seemed to be a very difficult situation.
Hoping to get some money back by emailing the chain directly but who knows…
Sadly I don’t think I...
Read moreGreat food, however restaurant configuration is really for takeout and/or delivery, very limited seating available. Vegan Bar next door will not allow you to sit down to eat Slutty Vegan food even though it is connected by an open doorway/hallway. Nice merchandise available, and restaurant was well designed and constructed, but very much a fast-food and go mentality.
Burgers are great, I had the Sloppy Toppy (standard plus jalapenos) and wife had the Fussy Hussy (standard plus pickles). Burgers were fully loaded and cooked well, assume it is either Impossible or Beyond patty but not a lot of details about which or other information about it or any of the other ingredients were advertised or posted, and substitutions or modifications are not permitted. Fries were just ok, seasoned well with slut dust, but rather small portion size. Pepsi products (meh) and interesting fruit juices, but also small, and only two were available when we went. While considered and priced as a full meal, it felt more like a decent sized snack afterwards. There was also a small ice cream scoop freezer with lidded large ice cream containers labeled as vegan but that was all I could confirm, and no labels/signs for flavors, just a small QR code on the glass, maybe it was just installed and all brand new, but would have appreciated it being included in/on the main menu screens and/or open containers with clear signage like standard scoop shops.
Location is a new development between the Cruise terminal/docks and the Under Armour stadium, in Baltimore Peninsula, and across from a distillery. Felt rather vacant on the cold and windy Sunday we visited, but definitely has potential and will be nice as other new businesses fill in. Close enough to downtown that we will probably be back to visit again, but also far enough away we won't go frequently. May be nice in warmer weather if outdoor...
Read moreAfter several (Literally, SEVERAL) FAILED attempts at obtaining food from the food truck, I FINALLY had the opportunity to try some items from SLUTTY VEGAN!!👍🏽 I had am invested interest in trying there foo, because, not only is it a Vegan fast food chain and Black Owned, but, I attended high school with the owner, Pinky (CITY Forever🧡🖤🧡🖤) so, I got to try it and here is my review!
'ONE NIGHT STAND' Burger ( 🔥🔥🔥🔥) All the SV Burgers have plant-based patties, Hawaiian buns, onions, tomatoe, lettuce and Slutty Sauce (which has kind of a spicy taste to it). The difference in them all may be adding and subtracting certain vegan product. The One Night stand comes with vegan bacon. I'll be 💯 with yall, if you told me it was a vegan burger, I would have definitely would've said you were BLUFFIN'!
SLUTTY FRIES (SMACK💥) Crinkle cut fries, that are seasoned to perfection?! SIGN ME UP EVERYTIME!
SLUTTY Lemonade & MIXXXY HEAUX (SMACK💥) DELICIOUS and I could drink all the Slutty Kraft Beverages all day long!
My only issue with this place, the SERVICE was NOT GOOD😩 I was in the location for close to 20 mins before I was handed my order. The guy whom was at the register when I entered, had still not gotten his food, even after I ordered, recieved and ate. Some of the customers whom came after me, actually left, because, the cashier had ignored them! That is unacceptable to brush off customers AT ALL! Oh, and you know how they be all hype in the videos, greeting customers? That must only be on the weekend, because, they for damn sure wasn't doing any of that on a Wednesday!🤣🤣
Otherwise, I encourage yall to try SLUTTY VEGAN out! I definitely enjoyed the food. Just be prepared for it not to be a fast exchange. BE PATIENT! Oh yea, before I forget......they basically are priced like another burger chain that starts with the...
