The food here is good and the atmosphere is very friendly. It's not your typical greasy spoon dinner or "crabcake hon" restaurant. It's also not another McDiner cookie cutter tourist trap. Locals as well as newbies to Charm City dwell here and though it's not very spacious it's bright happy and will make you want to order more just to hang out. I had a Patty melt and my wife had a Reuben. Though I enjoyed my sandwich my wife did not. Here's where it got interesting. Neither one of us are complainers we'd planned to just take a loss on the sandwich and go grocery shopping. Brooke ...not our server by the way... asked as did another young lady if the sandwich was ok? My wife said no but no problem. Two minutes later a large gentleman came and sat in our booth with us and began apologising about the sandwich. He asked my wife if she wanted something else to which she declined. He insisted to not only take I off of the check he said he was going to taste the corn beef and see if it needed to be changed or to take it away. He said *We're here to make customers...not money. That meant a lot to me because in todays who gives a damn society, its refreshing to have some old fashioned courtesy. ...

They must not have assigned tables for the servers because 3 different servers would come up and ask if I had ordered, I’d everything was ok, and if I needed anything. I know what you’re thinking, what could be wrong with that. Well, I had already ordered and I was trying to read and was interrupted 3 times in one paragraph.

The salad is literally a bag of salad mix, with some store bought shredded cheese, and store bought dressing. Nothing original that you can’t make at home.
The quesadilla was bland looking. The most bland quesadilla I’ve ever seen. And my eyes did not deceive me. There were no peppers or onions on it. No seasoning. It was literally just warmed up checked and some melted cheese in a quesadilla.
I would be hesitant to return here or to suggest this place to anyone looking for non breakfast foods early in...
Read moreMy first time visiting to place an order to go and I walk-in, not to be greeted by the blonde girl at the front, so I spoke, "hi, how are you." She responded, briefly walked away and returned. During that moment, I open the menu and found what I wanted to order. As she returns, I ask her do I place a to go order with you or someone else? She snarkily responds, "well you can place it with me or I can go grab someone else in here you want to place it with; so, you just let me know." I was shocked by her stupidity and just looked at her while trying to collect my thoughts... I just walked out in order to maintain my composure. I ended up talking with a couple of friends who patronize this business and they were a shocked and offended as well. If you care anything about how people are treated at your establishment, I recommend getting rid of the young girl at front or giving her an attitude check...
