Green Spring Tower Square — Local services in Baltimore

This supermarket is very clean. The aisles are roomy and spacious. So many choices of food. Fresh food. At affordable prices. The employees/staff were very professional, friendly and helpful. This was my first time going to this particular Giants supermarket. My mom goes here another because she lives close to this supermarket. I went here with my daughter and she fell in love with it. Even the outside of the market and the parking lot was clean. The only thing that I didn't like about this market is that there's no hackers at this market. Everyone doesn't drive. I called a taxi cab. I waited there for about 40-50 minutes for my cab. On the day I went to this market it rained terribly. A heavy thunderstorm occurred while my daughter and I waited for our cab. Thank God that we stood under the section that's the entrance to the market. I plan on going back to this market. Many people complain that the prices are to high at this market. But in my opinion if the food is fresh, the store is clean and the employees/staff are helpful and friendly. Then it's worth spending the extra money. I hope that Giant's doesn't close like they said on the news. Because of robberies and theft are the reasons that Giant's wants to close some of their supermarkets here in...

Early morning hours between 7am-9am the self checkout NEEDS TO BE OPEN!!! Not a regular Giant that I frequent however I stopped in this location as my daughter waited for her food at DD before heading to school. Again it’s early morning before 8am school time. I run in to grab 2 items, I had to checkout and self checkout was CLOSED. Headed to a regular register there’s a small line with a consumer ending a transaction and another 2 consumers who have full carts of items. Checked for another line to go but there wasn’t any as they were all CLOSED! Several consumers behind me all mentioned self checkout being closed and asking about another register because the line was long. At this time of the morning self checkout needs to be OPENED as you have consumers coming in on their way to work and are on a very short timeline. Extremely unacceptable especially when there are employees in every aisle...

The features at Giant include: super-high prices, shrinkflation, rotflation (this is where packages of fruit are rotten in the middle), long queues, harsh lighting, intrusive overhead "music" and ads, and self-checkout that is so loud that it's intolerable to use. The store features an absurdly up-armored security guard that has far too many weapons for the task at hand.

If you're autistic, I'd steer clear of the self-checkout. It's a frigging cacophony that offers a fast-track to sensory overload. The overall ambient noise level at this store is unacceptable. I have to wear my Loop earbuds for noise mitigation every time I shop here.
