Wow, I will never ever go to this Sonic location again. First of all, there were no cars in front of me and my order (not even exaggerating) took over 8 minutes to receive. It was a bad weather night, and this was on the way home. Now, I usually pop a fry or tater tot in my mouth to make sure it is hot but again, my main concern was navigating the rainy weather. I hopped back on BWI parkway, it was then I ate one of my tater tots. Horrible is an understatement. It was cold, dry, brittle and downright inedible. The burger was thrown together and not piping hot either, so the only thing I could salvage was my cherry limeade. Now comes the second level of disgust. I contacted customer service, and the story just gets worse. Got the order on 12/27, was told someone would contact me (nothing). Called them back on 1/6/25, told the same thing (nothing). Just called today 1/10/25 (after both agents hung up on me and I had to call back) and was told the same slow restaurant location was contacted and they would have to initiate a refund, and it was out of their hands. Whaaaat!. If this sounds crazy, well that's because it truly is. I've NEVER dealt with a restaurant that has given me the runaround like this. The customer service problem solving is atrocious and they give the same standard answers instead of actually helping their paying customers. Sonic was a staple when I was stationed in Florida and was pleased that they made it to Maryland, but they have definitely lost a customer. The horrible food, horrible customer service and the horrible non-existent follow-up is the reason for the rating and if they had a ZERO, that would be the rating. Do better...
Read moreI worked there for about three months… worst three months I’ve ever experienced in my life. First things first the reason y’all’s food isn’t out to yall in a timely manner is because the staff. Most times we were under staffed but when we weren’t, some staff would choose certain staff to bully. They constantly triggered my anxiety and depression due to them TRYING to bully me. I was pregnant and still had to fill the ice cream/milkshake machines(the cream boxes weigh around 25-30 lbs) and I was a high risk pregnancy. Will the store manager is very ignorant and I’ve heard he does drugs from other staff… the whole reason behind y’all’s orders not coming out in a timely manner was because they wouldn’t share responsibility to taking the orders out when we were busy. I remember it was one time I had to swipe my badge for all the orders that were takin out before I got there and then I had to owe them $20+ because someone didn’t get the persons money for their order and it had caused a lot of stress on my baby. These people are terrible and that’s why you barely get your food in a timely manner. Oh and me and another crew had to open up the store one morning for them yet me and that crew person was scolded for it. They also play with your time and pay. Read moreI was working on a job in this immediate area and since unfortunately there's no Sonic in the little down I live at 20 miles away, I eagerly decided to stop here to eat because of how much I love Sonic's food! The Manager, Edwardo, gladly listened to some concerns and detailed input i had about the potential for Franchise/future Sonic development in my area. I informed him about a prime property for sale that used to be a bank along a major thoroughfare. Explained how it would literally be a "gold mine" opportunity for Sonic to build a restaurant there because of the enormous amount of people who drive through there on their way to their jobs in Annapolis and Washington DC etc! I also mentioned how I see the Sonic commercials almost every single day on TV however unfortunately I would have to make a special trip 12 miles away going through 25 traffic lights to find the closest Sonic, so unfortunately I can't do that and for that reason almost never eat Sonic! Plus the fact that it's too far for Uber Eats and Grub Hub to go to for customer orders. I gave him so basic information on the available property and location and I suggested he pass this along to his corporate associates. Edwardo was very friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and gracious with his time! Plus the food was fantastic today! I highly recommend this location! 5 Stars...
