Starting July 21, 2025, we accepted a challenge: 30 days, 30 pizzas. A lot can happen in 30 days. A bad day at work, a bad night’s sleep, extremely hot or rainy days (this was towards the end of summer in Baltimore), or a bad health test that may lead to additional tests or even surgery.
However, each day for those 30 days, there was a light at the end of the tunnel, which was a steaming, hot pizza made by the wonderful employees at &pizza. They never failed. Whether it be one topping or so many toppings that it went past the receipt, the employees always did a wonderful job. Whether it was 11 a.m. when they just opened or 5 p.m. during the dinner rush, they worked hard to fulfill all the pizza orders that they were receiving. During the dinner rush, the pizzas would take a little bit longer, so either be prepared to wait, or if you order in advance, I’d say pick it up 20-30 minutes later.
All the pizzas were wonderful. My partner and I enjoyed all the pizzas and especially loved the Maverick; the only pizza that we were not too fond of was the Moonstruck because it was sweet. The Farmers Daughter was interesting with an egg on it and we ended up ordering it a couple of times.
I have to go into work everyday and my commute is 4+ hours roundtrip each day. To have a hot pizza ready and waiting for me saved me a lot of headache, work, and vastly improved the quality of my life for those 30 days. Once the 30 day challenge was over, my partner and I were in grief. We thought that we would be sick of pizza about a week into the challenge. We were wrong. The 30 day challenge with &pizza changed our lives and our outlook on pizza, which was that we would never be bored of eating pizza everyday.
To the employees at &pizza, I’m sorry I didn’t write this review earlier. You know, life has a way of making things complicated. Thank you so much. You all are wonderful and have changed over lives for the better. Who would have thought that pizza could not only never get boring but change two lives in just 30 days.
I took a picture of each pizza we ordered. I believe there are one or two photos with perhaps a missing piece or a mix of pieces but I assure you that the pizzas that we received were all completely intact. Just for two couple of times, the want of the pizza was faster than my ability to take a photo of it.
Thank you again &pizza for changing our lives...
Read moreI was able to go right up to the counter and order because there was no line. I ordered garlic knots. 10 minutes later, I returned to the counter to inquire on the status of the garlic knots. The employee was extremely curt and told me that the garlic knots had gotten "stuck" in the oven and that they had to be remade. I sat down and waited for another 20 minutes. I went to the counter again, and the employee pulled the garlic knots out of the warmer. I do not know how long they had been done for because he did not give me any indiction of them being done at the time that he finished them.
Shortly after I ordered, while the fist batch of garlic knots were in the oven, a group of young people came in and started yelling and being generally rowdy. At one point, one of them pointed out that the second batch of garlic knots which the employee had prepared were burnt as well. I assumed that the employee would make a third batch, which is why I waited for as long as I did before coming back up to the counter. .
Unfortunately, when I opened the box, the garlic knots were burnt. I assume that once the second batch of garlic knots came out burnt, the employee gave up and gave them to me anyway.
In the end, I waited for a very long time for garlic knots which turned out to be burnt. To add insult to injury, I had to wait in a very loud and extremely smelly...
Read moreThis has nothing to do with the specific location itself, which was clean and staffed by some really nice people. The food was fast and the restaurant clean and well presented. It's just that &pizza is easily some of the worse pizza I've had the displeasure of eating. I tend to give QSRs a few tries before making a judgement, lots of variables go into running one of these restaurants. Three strikes, you're out, &pizza. If you're looking for a pizza where the crust is so saturated with grease and the sauces just slathered on to mask the poor quality ingredients: then look no futher, there is a pizza for you. The sauces themselves overwhelm anything that you might have tasted from the toppings. Their marinara being incredibly salty and only vaguely resembles tomato. I only know what it tastes like independently after trying their overpriced garlic knots. The pizza's on menu are unoriginal and poorly executed, the flavors dominated by overly salted and overly applied sauces, and the crust itself becomes a soggy greaseball unless consumed in...
