We left this restraunt feeling very confused and disappointed. My family came in for lunch on a Sunday. When we first walked in, it was still busy, but apparently they were closing soon. We were not denied service and welcomed in so we waited in line for our turn as it is counter service. Everyone in line in front of us ended up leaving to find somewhere else to eat. While we were waiting we were trying to find a menu to figure out what we'd like to order before we reached the counter. Behind us, next to the front door, was a menu cubby with one inside which we looked over to order from. Upon reaching the front we were told that it wasn't their menu but one they keep on hand for the business next door for customers to look at. We were confused by this but were provided with their menu, and to our surprise, the two were basically identical, sharing many of the same dishes and item names. We later were told by the server that the the two businesses shared a kitchen. The kitchen staff for Sunnyside needed to clean up and leave for the Old Town Tap and Grill staff to come in and start their shift. Why couldn't we order from that menu? I don't know. They both made the same stuff. Unfortunately, the only thing any of us were allowed to order was a basic chicken sandwich because we were denied all other requests and told they were out of basically everything or had stopped serving certain menu items. We probably should have left, but we were hungry and hadn't eaten that day. The server recommended their Bloody Mary cocktail and my brother in law ordered one. My in laws wanted coffee and we were pointed to a self serve coffee dispenser and told to help ourselves. Unfortunately, they were out of coffee too. Just water then, I guess. The wait was unbearably long and the entire time, we could hear the kitchen staff yelling at eachother, complaining about the customers, and even making fun of them. Like they didn't care we could hear them. By this point all other customers had left and we were the only family there. No one checked on us. When the server finally came by to clean the other tables, my brother in law had to remind her he had ordered a Bloody Mary. She said she would prepare it herself. It still took way too long to get his drink. She had to be reminded at least twice for it. Eventually, we all got our sandwiches, which weren't bad but generally disappointing to all of us. The server was polite enough even if she had to come back to ask for reminders on what our orders were a lot. She was able to direct us to some shops we wanted to see and because the experience had been so bad she also was kind enough to comp 1 of my brother in law's drinks. He liked the Bloody Mary and had gotten a refill. This did nothing to improve the bill. Overall, unfortunately, the experience was a nightmare and none of us would go again. And we wouldn't recommend it to anyone else. Also, weekends in Bandon are VERY crowded so parking was hard to find. You may end up walking around...

My daughter and I enjoyed dining here while hanging in Bandon for the day. They have trimmed on some of the typical service in restaurants but no big deal. The food was outstanding, and they were happy to check ingredients for me and arrange stuff for my particular sensory sensitive daughter. You have to prepay and walk up to order, grab your own drinks (depending what you're getting) which may be a drawback for some but wasn't a huge deal for us. It was a bit loud inside though no fault of the restaurant, we were seated by the door. All in all we will be back to try other things!

I had the chicken fried steak (9/10) and it was very tender which was fantastic timing since I currently had a mouth injury. They were reasonably priced as well.

My daughter had the GF French toast plain with chopped strawberries on the side and she rates it (7/10) because it was bland but she admits it was her fault for asking for no...

This is our second time visiting this cafe. They were absolutely smashed busy and only one waitress working, but she made everybody feel so welcomed and served everyone in lightning speed. We couldn’t believe it! The food was absolutely wonderful and the booths are very comfortable. We will be coming back here every weekend from now on. I can’t remember the waitresses name, but she wears glasses, has blonde hair. She is absolutely amazing! Running around here was a big smile on her face, without any help except for a busboy, I’m the boss boy was very kind as well. The place is absolutely packed! I don’t know how she’s doing it. Whatever she’s making, she deserves a raise! me and my wife worked in the restaurant business for years and we know what it’s like to be busy without anyhow and she pulled it off better than I’ve ever seen. Thank you for the wonderful experience and...

We stopped by for breakfast as a family. The hostess was warm and welcoming, promptly guiding us to our booth. It’s a counter-service setup—you place your order at the front, and the food is brought to your table. We went with scrambled eggs, an omelette, and pancakes. The food arrived fairly quickly, and everything tasted good. The standout for me was the seasoned potatoes that came with the egg dishes. One minor hiccup: I received only one scrambled egg on my “2 eggs and potatoes” plate. I brought it up with the server, but rather than acknowledging it as a kitchen miss, she simply asked if I wanted more eggs. That said, they did bring the second egg without much delay. Overall, it was a pleasant breakfast with friendly service and satisfying food. P.S: They were kind enough to give the kids coloring books to keep them engaged
