Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Bangor Township

So a Popeyes popped up in my town. I never had Popeyes before and I heard all of the craze before, so I figured today I would try it. I pull in the drive through and was greeted by absolutely nobody. Then I gaze upon the prices and my god. The smallest combo option was up to $15+. They say “large” combo, but it’s really their only combo, and the sides are the smallest sides ever. I never thought mash potatoes could be smaller than KFC’s. The fries I got in the combo were McDonald’s small fries size. All super old and stale btw and I got this at around 12:00pm, prime lunch time. No wonder this place is always empty. Now their chicken, even though stale, has a good recipe. Sauce is good too. Wing Stop far surpasses any chicken in the world so why bother with this place. Absolutely no customer service, portions don’t justify the prices, no proper food upkeep. 04-14-25 @ 11: 35 AM. Customer service was great. 6 piece pickle glazed boneless chicken wings. 2 wings out of 6 were not edible. Very thin, dry , hard pieces of coating. The glaze was poured into the bottom of the container, so if you want it on the chicken, you're gonna have to do that part yourself. The texture on the 4 remaining were good . The ranch that came with it resembled a milk consistency , very thin. So paying $7.41 for 4 pieces of chicken nuggets is not a great deal. 3 piece chicken dinner was almost $15. The drumstick looked like a chicken wing. Very small portions. The chicken had a very good flavor and was hot. Coleslaw was good but very small. Biscuit was good but very small. Lemonade is $3.99. If I could give this place a zero I would on July 13 we got an order to go when we got home. The order was completely wrong. I called the store. They said that they would replace it just to keep the receipt so I kept the receipt because it was on my phone because it was a mobile order And I just drove all the way across town and when I got there showed them the receipt they had the time the date at the location and the order and they told me that they can’t replace that they won’t replace that the general or district manager was there a Mexican lady who was very rude very condescending and I have never been treated that poorly by someone in a fast food restaurant in my entire life I definitely will not be going back...
