The Coffee Pot Sandwich Shop — Restaurant in Bangor

I get a gluten free sandwich here quite often. When I first heard they did GF sandwiches I was excited but nervous because I have celiac. When I called to ask them about cross contamination they assured me they have a separate station with everything for gluten free sandwiches. I have never gotten sick eating here! However maybe 2 months or so ago I ordered my regular "Turkey Coffee Pot" and it came with maybe 6 tiny little nuggets of turkey. I was so shocked because normally there's so much meat on the sandwich it's spilling out. I called them to let them know that this happened. They did offer to make me a new one but I'd already gone down the road. I've ordered my regular sandwich a couple times since then with no issues until today. Today I again got very few tiny pieces of turkey on my sandwich. I'm not sure if they were running low or if they are changing how they make sandwiches. If they were running low and trying to save it, I'd rather they just tell me they were out of turkey than to get less than I paid for. Now I'm skeptical to go back. I always share the turkey on my sandwich with my kiddo and it's usually plenty for both of us to eat for lunch. Now it's barely enough for one person. I'm disappointed. I wish I could post a photo of my sandwich in this review for others to see but can't seem to figure out...

Sandwiches are always good, I get the Deluxe ham and salami. It's been a long time since I've had one since I've been trying not to eat bread hahaha . I didn't realize that the drive-thru was just for pre- orders that you've made by phone ahead of time. Drive-thru line wrapped around the building inline quite a while, finally got up to the window and read the sign. "Drive-thru window is for phone call pre-orders only" probably would be nice if they had to sign back around the corner so people would realize that it was for telephone orders only. Just a suggestion. But the nice lady at the drive-through allowed me to order a couple sandwiches that were already pre-made and sitting on the counter. Which are better anyway in my opinion so I was extremely grateful my choices were there waiting. Thank you coffee pots...

Coffee pot is sooo good. The drive from Boston is worth it. Located next to a bank in Southern Bangor. The sandwiches are delicious. Plenty of parking outside and accessible. They have a drive thru window for pre orders. There is a bathroom inside. The employees seem real nice and are well known. The sandwiches are huge. They can custom make sandwiches or they have a few premade ones ready to go. Their thing is putting the meats on top of the sandwich and the vegetables and stuff lower. I get the egg salad. They sell chips and drinks. Humpty dumpty chips to be exact. Plenty of tables inside. The only weird thing about the setup is to drive around in the parking lot you have to drive thru to get around the closest side to the bank, which to me should be the outside land.
