Kettell Beerworks — Restaurant in Banner Elk

We where on vacation went here thought it be a nice place to hang out.We got there went to bathroom didn't see no one else with mask on that was sitting down.So we took ours off bartender told us to put them back on till we are sitted we did.She could of said it nicer instead of being rude.Keep in mind our first time at a brewer we didnt know it only sold there beer.So I ask for a ultra she said we dont sells those she recommended a different one I said sorry.We sat down at the table the bartender goes to a customer sitting up there said how are they gonna come here and order a ultra to a customer.She talked behind are backs when my friend told me that I said I dont care what she says she dont bother me but my friend was uncomfortable because the bartender was rude to begin...

Been going to Kettle since we moved here. Go for the beer not the pizza. The wings and pretzels are still fine. Over time there has been much turn over in the staff especially in the kitchen. Their pizza dough is so thin you can see throw it. Suggestion is to get someone who knows how to cook and use thicker pizza dough. FYI, rumor has it that the Artisanal Restaurant is thinking about opening a pizza restaurant. Again, Kettle has good beer and we will return for a drink, but not the pizza. I've really missed this place during the Covid lockdown. Great beer, super friendly people and all round my favorite of the local breweries to frequent (and there are a bunch of really good ones around here). We've been buying Kettell beer in cans at Lowe's foods and Peabody's in the meantime.

I'm triple whammy high risk when it comes to Covid, so I'm still not venturing out, but I'm still getting my Supernova and Crabby Louie. Just hate that Kayleigh can't just assume that I want a Supernova and pour it!
