The cook came out on several occasions and yelled at a young lady in training cleaning tables. He was so loud, rude and threatening it made my wife, myself and other patrons uncomfortable . I told my wife "if he does it again I was going to ask him to please carry his loud demeaning self and his issues with staff to the kitchen area. He promptly left and threatened to call the police on me. Lol!! All the while they had a child serving plates to adults. One teenager said " I dont work here man, they just called me in to help deliver plates"! Im sure the health dept and labor board will love my phone call when I report them. I addressed the cook ( who turns out to be the son of the mother who waits tables as well). The wife of the cook was our waitress and she said "y'all gotta go...we let her know we would leave when we were finished with our food.!!!.They tried to bully us out!! Well the "bully family" met a United States Army Veteran on memorial day weekend that wasn't haveing any part of a young lady being verbally and emotionally abused in my presence!!! I dont know who you were young lady but never let any man talk to you, be little you, or make you feel embarresed in front of others. Run from that place!! On the way out my wife addressed the rudeness of the cook as well...the mom said..thats my son!!! My wife responded she didnt care who he was, he was rude! The other patrons as they left thanked me for what I did and how I handled it!! I would never recommend eating here unless you wanted to get in the middle of a hatfield and mccoy hostile enviroment!!! Thumbs 👇 Better a morsel eaten in peace than a banquet in the...
Read moreplease hire more staff. please... my table, besides 1 person, ordered water and there were 6 of us. 4 of the 6 glasses of water were completely empty before i motioned a person that worked there if we could get more water. she stated she wasnt our server but would bring us a pitcher of water(even though she brought our food) which we gladly excepted. the french toast was amazing and the little muffins they serve as an appetizer are delicious. i asked for my bacon to be cooked enough so it wasnt floppy and everyone's bacon, aside from 2 pieces that were extremely crunchy, were burnt. the eggs looked perfectly cooked though. i watched as we waited for our food which took forver, but i understand because they were busy, but i watched people being seated and sit there and wait and look and try to motion for an employees attention just to ask them for a menu before giving up and walking out. 3 tables did that and they happened to be elderly couples which i dont find very responsible of the manager to accept so many people, seat them, and then just let them be forgot about. when one table that left was set, the hostess said your waiter will be right with you and she never came. no one came back... very disappointed in this place because you have the potential to be AMAZING if you hire more people and make sure they are attentive. oh, and they close at 2pm and by 1 had "run out of breakfast foods." Bella's "BREAKFAST".. completely unprepared for hungry Sunday folks.
i see a lot of other reviews are saying the same thing..maybe we should of complained and got a...
Read moreThis was our second visit to Bella’s, but it was like visiting a totally different restaurant! The wait staff was not friendly. The food was not that good. The grits, in particular, were horrible! It was more like someone had thrown grits in a bowl with lukewarm water and served them to us. They were still crunchy. Our eggs were not cooked well either. 🤢 When we told our waitress (older, Hispanic lady) about our food being undercooked, she snatched up our bowls and stalked off. We never got a cooked bowl of grits. And we were never given edible eggs. A second, younger waitress did give us a discount once we explained about our food, and she was very apologetic and understanding. Another problem we encountered was that the staff propped the side door open, and because we were sitting in the booth across from the door, we were directly affected by the cold draft coming in. It’s October in the mountings, and we wanted to sit in a warm restaurant, not by an open door. (Yes, we shut the door, but members of the staff continued to open it again throughout our meal. We finally gave up.) Lastly, as we were leaving the older, Hispanic waitress nearly ran into me. I apologized because we had both kinda crossed paths at the same time. The look she gave me was the nastiest look I’ve ever seen. She certainly is not a good fit for the Bella’s Breakfast and Lunch team! Overall, not a positive experience and definitely not...
