Final results: The staff needs a leader without hypocrisy. The GM, Jose, sets a bad example. After having failed to prepare a Chicken wrap Combo on two different occasions using two different apps., it was evident that the problem was internal. My initial review resulted in a response from Corporate. They gave me a link to share with them my experience and after reviewing my responses, they asked for a second chance and informed the local store manager what happened.
The GM, Jose was very kind and apologetic and invited me to come down right away and promised me two new Combos and encouraged me to come down the same day. Apparently, he overlooked my physical challenges or Corporate omitted that. Also, it was raining fiercely and not worth the journey. I did let the GM know and in order to accommodate me, he put me on a “list”. Apparently, I could come or send someone on my behalf and they would give me my Combos, free of charge. That sounded like a great way to make amends.
About a week later, I called to let them know I had someone coming in to pickup my free combos. The staff member who answered the phone had no idea what I was talking about but when I referenced Jose, she put me on hold and tried to speak with him only to be berated. Eventually, she found “the list” and after a spell, found my name. All one had to do was reference my name and they would be given 2 orders. I received two rotisserie chicken breasts. If only I had tortillas and a few other items I could have made a dozen or so wraps. It smelled good but it was too greasy and I ended up with indigestion as it was my dinner.
In summary, I don’t recommend this Carl’s Jr at all. The staff is disorganized because they are lead and managed by a disorderly GM. If you do opt to eat in or use the drive-thru, double check your order. Also, if you want rotisserie chicken, get from Albertsons across the shopping center parking lot....
Read moreHorrible service! We walked in and the woman was busy with drive through orders. Saw us, she waved a hold on sign. Finished the drive through order. Which is understandable. Gave us another hold on hand gesture murmured hold on. No gloves, nose is showing up, keep touching her face mask. At one point she lowered her mask to her chin. Took our order didn’t give us our receipt. Restroom is not available, nowhere to wash our hands. She yell in Spanish about some order probably. Then another employee came in and she yell out her name. She came out and very slow, don’t know what to do. I told her our order is ready I believe it’s just setting in there to be put on the bag. The other woman took care of 2 cars drive through order. She ask me do you have drink? We ordered and payed the drinks I said. What was the drink, she asked me. I ask her for the receipt and she said sorry, printed some paper and throw it on the trash. Help another drive through order. We are the only customer inside mind you. We finally got our order and left. Horrible service, all they care about is selling food and getting it out. Being nice and doing a safe food handling is not...
Read moreThe taste of food here is okay; about what you would expect. But the value (amount of food vs the price they charge) isn’t very good. 6 waffle fries for $3.50 seems like a rip. This is not a one-time occurrence; it’s all the time. Their chicken stars are also pricey for what they are: just nuggets. On top of that, the staff here isn’t very professional. I’ve been here (drive-thru) on more that a few occasions and regularly had to wait 10-15 minutes for food. Not stuff off-menu, just their regular food and during regular hours. The times I’ve gone inside, it seems like the staff is goofing off. I’m glad when staff enjoy their work but people typically come to a fast-food place to get fast food, key word being “fast”. That doesn’t happen here. It seems like a management problem. If you’re okay with that, this place is for you. If you want fast food at a good value, I suggest to try...
