I recently dined here a while back , and while the food was decent, my overall experience was soured by how the employees were treated. Throughout my meal, I noticed the staff seemed stressed and unhappy. It became clear that management was demanding and disrespectful, often speaking harshly to the employees in front of customers. For example, I witnessed the manager reprimand a server loudly for a minor mistake, which was uncomfortable for everyone in the vicinity. The server appeared visibly upset, and it was clear that this was not an isolated incident but part of a pattern of poor treatment. Additionally, I overheard several employees talking about their unreasonable working hours and lack of breaks, which is unacceptable in any workplace. It was uncomfortable to witness and made me question how the restaurant values its team. Happy employees are crucial to a positive dining experience, and it’s disheartening to see them treated poorly. The overall atmosphere felt tense and unwelcoming, which significantly detracted from the dining experience. I hope the management takes steps to improve their treatment of staff, as it significantly impacts the overall atmosphere and customer satisfaction. Until then, I cannot in good conscience recommend this restaurant. No matter how good the food might be, supporting a business that mistreats its employees is something...
Read moreNo no no, I mean this is a no for me. I should have known, it was way to empty but it smelled OK and there was no wait. I didn't have much time, but no no I should have followed my first mind and got over priced wings. First the chips and salsa was good, could be I was hungry or by comparison to everything else there. I ordered the steak burrito minus the beans, the pictures looked alittle to refried. It came with guacamole, cheese, pico and sour cream. And boy was it not good. It was shredded beef first no no, and it tasted funny. The wrap was hot ish but the meat was luke warm. None of the ingredients meshed together. I also ordered French Fries which looked good, were hot and UNDERCOOKED. Hard, and raw, LIKE OMG. I had to send it ALL BACK. I changed to a chicken taco and was even more horrified. New fries came out which I'm sure was the fries I sent back thrown back in the grease- like whatever. I paid $15 for an attitude( i was mad, i only get one shot at lunch) and water. If not for the waitress I would have stormed out. I left a tip because it wasn't her fault. She has to sell and serve the food. I can't recommend this place for food. Decent...
Read moreOk at first walk in, I was like ok not over fancy or Mexican atmosphere but it was clean and looked good. I'm married to a Hispanic woman who cooks from scratch so I'm quite the picky foodie..FANTASTIC menudo, high quality, not much grease very clean, the Pata was meaty not just a piece of bone and some skin. The chicken enchilada with green chilie salsa, super favorable, authentic like it was made at home another 10, finally the chilie relleno the from the egg to the cheese and the sauce was another 10.. The rice excellent tomatoe flavor and the refried beans, a very enjoyable flavor and texture profile on the palate. Finally the prices compare to taco bell now a days, amazing value and bang for your buck. Last but never least our server JANET, what a bundle of joy, such a big smile and so very kind to my wife and I. Thank you Janet, when we cone back to the area this will always be our spot!. To management kudos to you for actually being able to bring authentic Mexican flavor and food into the restaurant scene.. not easy to do, but we'll done...
