I've updated my review to 5-Stars. Here's why:
The food and service are beyond amazing! You just have to time your arrival to avoid the lunch or dinner rush in delivery orders, or you will wait a long time.
Original review:
We really love the food here, the Wok cook is a master at his/her craft! And the service is always super friendly and accommodating.
The problem is the frustrating wait time.
This is yet another one of "those places" that focus on to go / delivery orders. We were there yesterday and there was only one other table besides ours in the whole restaurant - 7 customers total.
Still it took 40 minutes to get our food, 1 dish at a time.
They told us that "we make every order in the order it was received." OK. But you have customers in the restaurant, looking to order food, drinks, dessert, and enjoy their time with you.
Instead we left without dessert, frustrated, unhappy, and my parents have crossed the restaurant off their list of places to go or recommend, which is really sad.
This is so unnecessary. I worked in many restaurants, and we always prioritize the customers who are actually sitting at the table, especially when there were so few. If you'd rather focus on delivery, then close the dining room and prioritize that. Or at least let customers know when they come in that the wait is over half an hour.
I recommended the place to my parents and I felt really embarrassed. I'll return on my own (with a book!) but I'll never recommend the restaurant to anyone again.
I hope they can sort this out...
Read moreIt’s hot in town today, and what better way to enjoy the weather than some spicy and rather delicious food? I haven’t been here in quite awhile, and after my weekly shopping excursion to Hobby Lobby, I was craving a rice dish. Popped on over and saw that they had Grapow Fried Rice with not only a built-in variety of meat options, but also extra meat - or vegetarian with tofu. You can do no spice at all, or levels 1-5. Most places I eat at, their top level heat is usually “just enjoyable” to me, as I have a ridiculous tolerance.
Not today. Level 5 was bomb as hell! Rich and flavorful, the heat really complimented this dish. It actually got me to cough a few times, which is a big compliment in my book if you’re able to pull it off. I’ll brag about places that “gave me a run for my money.”
This is a family run business, so they really do put their heart into it. I’m so grateful for the young lady assisting me kept my water topped off, definitely needed it.
Wide range of dishes, they’re literally right here in town in a nice air conditioned building - you should seriously check them out. I know I’ll be...
Read moreI've only had 1 or 2 dishes, but both were quite good. The dining room is clean and waitstaff are prompt and friendly. The only issue you'll regularly encounter is that it takes quite some time to get your food--frequently 30 minutes or more. I came in around 3pm on a Saturday and waited 30 min for my food after ordering (I was alone, so just one portion) and when it came they had forgotten my brown rice, which I waited almost another 10 minutes for. However, they were very apologetic and did not charge me the extra $2.50 for the brown rice because I waited extra due to their mistake. One thing I appreciate is that they are very upfront about the current wait times when you sit down or order takeout, and they even have a sign on their door to that effect as well. So I would say if you have time for a leisurely meal, go for it because the food is very good and the overall experience is pleasant! If you are on any kind of strict time limit, however, visiting Thai Chili in Calimesa or Thai Air in Beaumont might be a better choice in...
