TUSK DINER - Barberton — Restaurant in Barberton

Food was not good and the price was higher to comparable restaurants but the atmosphere was good. I will try it again and something different on the menu next time just to make sure I didn't catch them on a bad day. If the second experience is the same I won't be back.

-UPDATE- I have tried this place again and they have definitely improved. I think my last bad experience here was the fact they was still getting all the kinks worked out. The last time around I only enjoyed the actual interior of the restaurant, this time around the food was great, the service was great, and as always the interior was wonderful. The price was a little expensive but then again with Joe Biden's Bidenomics everyone is hit with record inflation so I can't blame them here. Also they even changed their hours to be competitive with the other local restaurants. They used to close way to early and many times I wanted to give this place another try but they was closed so I took my family across the street or to other local restaurants that are open. So basically they fixed everything and got all the kinks worked out. A fine place to go if you want a wonderful dining experience. Waitress was adorable and attentive. We had the steak and fries. The steak was pink, exactly how we ordered it. I think the lights were very bright. Maybe at dinner time, they could be a little lower, softer. I didn’t notice any kid friendly choices. Such as a smaller burger, grilled cheese, a P & J , hot dog Etc…..just a few choices would prove practical. Many lower income families and older people in Barberton. I live on the Lake and have been waiting for a nice place to open nearby. Personally, I loved it and can’t wait to have breakfast and sample other menu choices. Again, there are many senior residents in Barberton that may like a choice in sandwiches for lunch that might be a little easier on their pocketbook. Anymore, folks go to a restaurant with low expectations. Places might be rushing you to get you out, many places don't great you or make you even feel welcome. Most restaurants the food that looks, sounds or smells good, does not let you feel good. A lot of times you can't expect everything to be clean or cleanish even anymore.

Well, this isn't just a restaurant. This is TUSK. We've been greeted immediately every time. The place is spotless clean, and the decor is cute and inviting. We have had longer than average conversations with the staff every time, and I have been educated on different culinary things and tea and the restaurant. Have expectations with TUSK. They will exceed them. They've made it enjoyable to go out with your family...
