I love this theater. They always play current films, even though I wish they occasionally (more often) had a nostalgia evening / films, but overall the films are great and the quality is great. This review is not one of the quality of the theater itself, but instead the gradually increasing bad experiences from myself and MANY other people regarding etiquette. That said, movie etiquette seems to be long gone dead. Unfortunately, people have lost respect for it, but despite the people it seems this theater isn't doing much in way of helping. Recently, more and more, I would say the last 6 or 7 films I've seen here, opening nights, a few days after release and even more than 2 weeks after release, I keep seeing babies. Not just 4 or 5 year olds, but infant children in car seats and even a stroller one time. I'm not against children enjoying the theater, but there needs to be a certain level of etiquette that you need to maintain. Just this evening I was at the new Jurassic film and during the show a parent allowed her child to make very loud noises off and on throughout the entire film. Another parent allowed their child to cry for several minutes before taking the child out. As I said, people have lost respect, but I feel like those that care would appreciate and respect the theaters choice to not allow children under a certain age, and even then have certain restrictions on films and specific nights. As it is, movie etiquette is respecting the experience for ALL attendees by MINIMIZING distractions and being mindful of your surroundings. I get that theaters need to make money, but why allow a potentially bad experience at the profit of $5, $10, $15.
Just expressing my experience...
Read moreMy family and I go here all of the time and have never had a complaint about any of the employees or the theatre until yesterday October 19th during the 5:00 showing of "The Addam's Family". For the entire movie not only did my family but other families were getting upset at a family of 6 or 7 (grandma, mom, dad, children), everyone of them was loud when they talked which was non stop and then non of them stayed sitting down (grandma and kids sat towards the front and the parents sat in the very back of the theatre) specially the children and they didn't ever just walk but they had to run back and forth from their seats to their parents. After awhile of the disruption I finally went out and asked an employee named "Hailey" if someone could please ask this family to stop their behavior specially the children, Hailey laughed and said they were aware of the family and what they were doing and that it would be handled. I returned to my seat and never did anyone not even Hailey come into the theatre room and talk with any of the family. On my way out after the show ended I stopped and told Hailey thank you for handling the situation and all I got in return from her was laughing in my face! I will not allow Hailey to keep me from returning because of one bad experience with an employee who didn't want to do their job instead wanted to laugh in my face! I hope in returning to see another movie I hope to never be treated like this again and if there is a problem it...
Read moreResponding to this message and clarify we were the last people out of the theatre and the last showing of the night. I then called the next morning and they retrieved the wallet before the first showing. So, explain to me how someone else would take the money out of the wallet⌠I was gonna give you guys a tip too to whoever found it but I couldnât because it was already takenâŚ
Hi Kylee, we return wallets full of money on an almost weekly basis. Our staff is trained and honest and our track record shows that. You need to realize that there are other opportunities for someone to take money out of a wallet when you lose it inside of a public auditorium over the course of a busy day. Unless you have some evidence and proof that you failed to announce in your review, you should give a little more thought the next time you make a baseless accusation. Feel free to give us a call if you would like and we can discuss this...
