I've been to lots of comic/toy shows in NE Ohio, and SGE has been at most of them. Anytime I've bought from them, they've always said to stop in their store because they have a huge collection of Funko Pops.
When I went for a visit, I thought it was cool shop, with a nice little selection of Pops. But then they told me to go to the back room, and I was b l o w n away! Two and a half walls FILLED top to bottom with Pops. I had never seen such a huge selection. I actually bought so much at SGE that they effectively killed a first time visit I'd planned to a another toy shop nearby.
They also have super-friendly staff here that made me feel like I was an old friend, even though it was my first time here. If you are a collector of Funko Pops, comic books, vinyl records, action figures, and/or toys...SGE is absolutely worth your time and money.

However, that doesn’t change the fact that practically every toy is overpriced, regardless of being used or beaten up/scuffed. I found that their comic book selection is outstanding and very worth your time if you want or are looking for comics. The sheer amount of vintage things and oddities is good. Read morethis place a truly awful. nothing was organized other than the batman comics were sort of with other batman comics, you would an issue come 5 years ago then one from this last year then one from 30 years ago right in a row with different titles inner mixed, everything was over priced we are talking recent back issues starting a $6 and on up to $8 when at other stores they would be $3.50 to $4.50. there was all just boxes of stuff sitting on top of the long boxes of comics the place was an utter mess. if you want my recommendation? go somewhere else where the stuff is organized...
