Ah, Chili’s the gastronomical coliseum of casual dining, the siren song of molten skillet queso and ambiguous Americana. With hearts full of hope and bellies primed for sodium, our fellowship of six embarked upon this noble Sunday night quest… only to discover we had stumbled not into the cozy, neon-drenched Chili’s of TikTok fame, but rather, into its modern, minimalist cousin sleek, sterile, and heartbreakingly un-chili-fied. Let us address the unequivocal gem of the evening: our waitress. A paragon of professionalism, she navigated the chaos of being short-staffed like a seasoned gladiator, wielding menus like shields and Diet Cokes like swords. We loved her with the kind of pure adoration usually reserved for fictional characters or competent TSA agents. Were it not for her valiant service, this review might have plunged into the two-star abyss. However, my dear reader, tragedy struck. Some of our food once promising morsels of hope arrived like forgotten campfire sacrifices, burnt to a crisp and radiating the sorrow of overcooked dreams. The fajitas crackled not with delight, but with existential despair. The fries whispered of betrayal. Still, we persevered. For we are not easily deterred, and we recognized the weight of the moment a Sunday night, short-staffed, and yet the team soldiered on. To that, we raise our (lukewarm) water glasses in respect. In summary: three stars for the valiant server, the survival of the group, and the mere fact that Chili’s still exists in this economy. Points deducted for culinary incineration and an atmosphere that screamed “corporate office lobby” instead of “mid-2000s family chaos.” Chili’s, we love you. But next time, give us the chaos. Give us the TikTok dream. And maybe… don’t burn...
Read moreDecember 5th 2021 at 4:35 in the evening ,I called and placed an order for pickup, the girl on the end of the line was kind and considerate she took my order with ease . I walked into the to go pick up area, and I was hit right off the bat with an oder that was so repelling and smelled like dirty fish or grease, that was very unpleasing to the nose, which actually made me question the food I was about to receive . The floors were dirty, but the service was very good even with them training another girl. Even though I was nervous about the food, I was picking up I still tipped the girls graciously and prayed the food will be good. When I got back to my hotel, I had no way of eating my food ,meaning no utensils, although I did get a straw for my drink.I did not receive any napkins (which when you eat fajitas they’re very messy), so I had to use a hotel towel to wipe my hands and mouth off with. This made me feel embarrassed to leave the towel so messy. I had to become creative with eating the food ,I basically drank the beans out of the container and used my hands for the rice and veggies and meat,. When I tasted the food it had a whole different flavor than what I am use to In another state. The steak was loaded with Black pepper but mostly I could not get the thought of the oder I encountered out of my memory at the establishment while I was eating my meal I did not finish the food . I am only giving a three star because of how well the girls who took my order...
Read moreMy fiance is a type 1 diabetic who got sepsis and food poisoning from the Chili's restaurant in Bardstown which caused her to go into D.K.A and now she is in ICU. I tried to call the manager of the store twice, both times in which I was hung up on to the point that I had to go up there and talk to the manager in person. The second time I went up there they called the cops on me for no reason. I never raised my voice to them or anything, just showed them a picture of my fiance in ICU and asked them what they were going to do about it and they had absolutely nothing to say. Also it was her birthday and I had to take our son to see her at the hospital in the ICU on her birthday. And if you think I'm anywhere even close to being finished with this you have another thing coming because I'm just getting started. I promise you I'm going to do everything in my power to take this as far as I can because our son did not deserve to see his mother laying there in the hospital on her birthday she did not deserve to be laying in the hospital on her birthday worrying whether or not she's going to make it through the night. Like I said she's still not even out of the hospital yet she's still in there because of this and I'm not going...
