I think their slices are near Perfect. It's pizza that tastes like pizza. Not flatbread, coal-fired, infused, grandpas, detroit, inverted, fluffy, crispy or other goofy stuff... It's Just a normal slice of New Jersey pizza. We live near Long Branch, 40mi north, there are 67 pizzerias between our house and here, and I've tried a lot of them. Yet we'll take a drive down here in order to get a Proper Slice of NJ pizza. Making Pizza might be common; Making Great pizza seems rare these days. Thanks for keeping the tradition of a proper slice of plain alive!

Naples Pizza & Restaurant: Naples is a great spot for delicious eats. From their pizza to their dinners to their sandwiches, all are well executed and quite tasty. The Veggie Grandma’s pie has the perfect, crunchy crust. The flavors are savory and fresh. Chicken Marsala is tender and mouth watering! Highly recommend the Veal Naples. Both the chicken and veal are accompanied by a small side salad and bread. The Buffalo Chicken wrap is also quite nice. The food is outstanding and very reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.

Naples has done a bit of decorating in their dining room since our last visit, nice atmosphere! The food is always consistently delicious. Prices are very reasonable. Pizza crust is my favorite in the area. Sauces are balanced, not over-seasoned. Eggplant Parm is great- thin sliced and just enough batter to make a many-layered treat. Pastas are always al dente. Grouper piccata was the hit of the night!

Been ordering from Naples for years and every time I leave a tip on an order I have to pick up because they don’t deliver (out of respect for the workers) and I never had a problem doing so until tonight.

Ordered my food over the phone as usual, was told 20-25 minutes, came to pick it up like 45 minutes later (as I wasn't in a serious rush), paid for my food and left a tip at which point the girl at the register said nothing to me other than: “do you want a receipt.' I stood aside and waited patiently, but she was more concerned about talking to other co workers without communicating something as simple as: “it will be coming out shortly.' Instead, she said nothing until I asked where my food was and she finally communicated that it will be coming out. At this point, I communicated my frustration of her saying nothing to me, leaving me to just sit and wait for five or so minutes. Upon disclosing my frustration, I was met with her and another girl just exchanging smirks and rolling their eyes; followed by the register girl saying that my reaction was unnecessary. ABSOLUTELY, the entire interaction was unnecessary. Simple communication would’ve gone a long way, but instead I’m supposed to sit there patiently (which I did to a point) and smile at their complete disregard to basic customer service.

The food is good, but unfortunately the staff is disrespectful and I will be ordering elsewhere. Why should I pay to go pick up my food from a disrespectful staff when I can just get it delivered and tip somebody for their actual effort rather than tipping somebody that stands at a counter disregarding their customers. I'm sorry, but your food isn’t THAT good. A slight step above most other dime a dozen mom and pop pizza shops in NJ. Let alone one of like a dozen in Barnegat alone. Sad as it is, I will be hard pressed to get food from here again based on this interaction alone and from what I gather from a lot of these other reviews, I’m not alone in this. I just lucked out all these years in having basic customer service interactions until now. I’m sure their business will survive without my money, but I will no longer be supporting Naples or telling others to order from there. Every interaction about Naples from now on will be to stay away and order from one of the dozen other...

First- let me say that this is probably one of the best places you can get a well done grandma pie in southern NJ. I love both coming here to pick up a pie on a Friday night or bringing my family to eat in the small but cozy dining area on site. But the reason I took off two stars was because the last time I ordered I pie I asked for vodka sauce and extra garlic and to my surprise when I arrived to pick up I was told it was over $30! Now don't get me wrong, it is an absolutely exceptional pie- but I don't know how we have gotten to a place where pizza now costs $30+ for one pizza. With absolutely no meat based toppings. And I know, I know- everything is more expensive. But at comparible locations for the same type pizza you pay almost $5 less and for a working family that means alot. Honestly, the whole ride home, mouth watering from how good the pizza smelled in my car I tried to do the math on what the price per slice was at over $30+ a pie. Is it worth it? I don't know. And still haven't settled on a clear point of view in that regard. When it comes to food alone- Naples is five stars every day of the week. But unfortunately it is probably more middle of the road in terms of value when it comes to the prices at this...

I placed a order via grubhub the driver delivered it to another house i contacted him and he came back picked up the food and re delivered it to me, it was cold and one of the bags were opened a bit seemed like food wasnt touched (COVID PREVENTION). I ordered a slice of a white and garlic pie instead got a chicken and bacon slice when i dont and cant eat bacon ive ordered plain pie from here before and its always good, I also ordered an eggplant parmigiana i litrally rate it a hard ZERO saggy, mushy, over all the taste is horrible and i love eggplant parm, An order of chicken wings 10/10 still crispy when delivered, chicken marsala with mushroom came with pasta and a side salad it was good my only complain about the dish is that there was too much sauce and not enough pasta.

If your unsure what to order , order a pizza you cant go...
