EXPENSIVE SCHOOL FOOD, HORRIBLE SERVICE! I sat out in the lobby for 15 minutes when less than half the IHOP was full until someone even noticed we were waiting. After an additional 15 minutes, we were seated. We ordered our drinks and when she returned she gave us the silver wear, which was freshly rinsed because we were given dirty silver wear with food still caked in the knives and forkes from previous use, and that was with half of our silver wear. When we were asked what we wanted to order, she quickly ran through us and left before we could finish our order. She returned 30 minutes later with our food, and we were missing 2 plates of food and we did not receive the onion rings we ordered on some of the plates. We started to ask for refills, but the waitress turned away and ingnored us, we had to wave the waitress down after 30 minutes of trying to get her attention. When she came over, we asked for refills and ordered our sauces which we did not recieve for our food that we were supposed to receive, when she returned, we were already done with our food. The burgers had nothing special about them, and were dry and forgetful, the alchohalic drink my mother got tasted like watered down orange juice. The philly cheese stake sandwich was unflavorful and cold. To go to the bathroom you have to squeeze through the kitchen counter where waitresses always are. What capped off the whole expierince was when she started to pick up out garbage and spilled all of our trash on my father. The people who work here are underachievers who's...
Read moreWent there for dinner with my wife because we had a $25 gift card. (The only reason we went into this place) The server was new but he was fine did a good job. When it came time to check out he didn't know how to use the gift card, which is understandable as he had only been there a few days. But when he called his manager to try to get help the guy Rog or Rodrigo something like that was absolutely no help. After trying to explain it to the guy for one second I hear him tell the server to tell us they don't accept gift cards and that was the end of it. Ended up happening to pay full price even though we had a brand new perfectly valid 25.00 gift card but apparently the lazy manager instead of doing his most likely undeserved job just says tell them we don't take gift cards. Totally unacceptable that guy clearly doesn't give a care about the customer or the company he works for. Call IHOP directly but I highly doubt anything's going to be done about it. The place has been steadily going downhill for decades. And now with this guy who clearly doesn't care about the customer or the company is running the place I only expected to get worse. I don't ever think I'll go to IHOP again but if I do it's definitely not going to be the one in Hyannis that's for sure I wish I could give zero stars or negative Stars. The manager is a total clown. PS what a ripoff 55.00 for two small...
Read moreIf I could rate this with negative stars, I would. We were told a half hour wait which was fine. They fixed a booth up for us which was tight but we were fine (7 people - 2 adults and 5 kids). We were served coffee and drinks then placed our order. We waited almost 45 minutes for our food to come out. We saw people who were seated after us get their food and even saw some people who came in after us leaving. We finally got our meals and there was no silverware. We had to ask more than once and our waitress told us they had to wait for it to come out of the kitchen. Our kids were starving and had to sit there after waiting well over an hour total, just looking at their food and not being able to eat it. We finally got 4 forks while we continued to wait. A few mins later we finally got our silverware. We began to eat and my fiancé found melted plastic chunks in her meal, after biting down and almost chipping a tooth. She looked around and found more of it mixed in her meal. I completely lost my appetite and couldn’t even continue to eat. We know it wasn’t our waitresses fault however we will never go back to IHOP again. It was...
