Bangkok Cuisine - Hyannis — Restaurant in Barnstable

My wife and I have made a point of getting take out from this place for the last several years. We keep coming back, because it has always been wonderful. We recently had to stop, though.

Take out from this establishment has always been on the pricier end, but we were always happy to pay (as the food has been excellent)… but something has changed.

We recently ordered takeout for three adults. Two red curries and a pad thai (total cost more than $100). I picked up the order and drove home, only to discover that there was no white rice in the bag. I called the restaurant to inform them of their mistake, only to be told that rice is not included!!

Can you believe that? White rice - not included with an ordering totaling more than $100.

For an item costing them roughly ten cents, they have forever lost a...

We have been ordering here for years. This time when I called to order I was redirected to order online. It’s online ordering now I guess. When I didn’t want meat there was no option. It’s too bad that you can’t place your order with an actual human especially when you’re dropping over $100 in takeout. The steak was definitely not the same. It was gross, it tasted like something from canned Dinty Moore. I Specified no spice when I was made to choose one on the online ordering, and the rice dish was spicy. I Ordered our usual Thai Pad and the noodles were not pad Thai noodles. Not sure what’s going on. We are hoping it was a fluke and will give it one...

So annoying, order takeout from here we picked it up after waiting a half hour get home 20 minutes away and find out our order is not what we ordered. It had shrimp in it and my girlfriend is allergic to shellfish. You can’t even call back the number hangs up on you. There’s no way to contact them to let them know. We had to drive 20 minutes back to tell them that they screwed up l, ridiculous. How do you not have a working phone while you’re open everything on their website directs you back to online ordering there’s no way to contact or talk to a freaking human being. Great job. They did make correct...
