Beautiful ambiance, service was impeccable! The staff was so friendly, they treat you as if you have been there a hundred times and its great to see you back, whilst still being very professional. The Food!! So i could tell you what i ate and how amazing it was but then this review would be like all the others, instead i will say this if you live within driving distance whether 5 minutes down the street 5 hours away you may want to make a day trip if you want to enjoy or treat someone to a very special tantalizing experience of the Taste buds. True new england foodies finally have a haven to go enjoy exquisitely prepared food of local ingredients. And last but definitely not least cost, so there are options on the menu that even could be afforded my a young man taking a young woman on an extravagant first date, there are also plenty of options of mind blowing cuisine you wouldn't have seen in any menu other than a 5 star restaurant... And the price to match but also still keeping $$ still lower than some big name local steak houses tgat most locals attend when searching for fine dining. I myself have worked at McCormick and Schmidt's, capital grille,nordic lodge,Hemingway's, cappriccios, pizzi co. And several establishments on federal hill and if i was asked which had the best food or overall dining experience hands down it would have to be east bay oyster bar, many fine dining establishments do not last long in these areas i truly hope this is not the destiny for the east bay oyster bar, but if it does im very happy i was able to experience food/art of...

My go to restaurant for EVERYTHING. From happy hour, to the best fish and chips, to a stop in for my FAVORITE FRIES with the to dieeeee for CHIPOTLE SAUCE (highly recommend, I put it on every meal I get here). The atmosphere is so welcoming and calming. The lights are never too bright or too dark, always feels romantic, but still the home feeling. The service is incomparable! ! I love the waiters. From the head waiter who is fantastic and on top of everything. To the lovely waitresses who always know what I'm ordering and have my drinks, bread and oil, and fries ready to be put in as soon as I am seated. I have even ordered to go just to have the waiter come out with two waters for my husband and 15 minutes after I left and was eating in the parking lot and they had already closed. The manager, and owner? I believe is outstanding, always checking in on everything and on top of employees to be the best and it truly shows EVERY time I walk in this place. 7 stars if I could, never a complaint. And the loyalty points are great as well, they stay on top of it and it goes a long way when you're a regular. I always order the pan seared salmon with delicious spinach and beans or the fish and chips fried so perfectly and the portions are so generous . This rating comes from a Foodservice professional of over forty years of experience in the foodservice industry. (Factors to consider when Rating): Service / (Server) Quality of Food & Presentation, Mixologist/ Bartender & Cleanliness. All the right ingredients for a successful venue. East Bay Oyster Bar is a place of comfort & engagement. I'm particularly impressed with an individual (Elise W.) I have seen Elise develop through the ranks of server to Shift Manager. However, over the years, what is most impressive is about her Listening Skills.( Something missing now days) A few short years ago, a server with a smile, knowledgeable about the menu, so impressive, personality plus, and now to a position in management.
