Yes the sandwich was good, but my review is on Andrew, the employee. My experience yesterday at this subway on my way to Vegas from Orange county was amazing because of him. It was super busy during my stop and it was him and 1 more employee working the shift. Customer in front of me was confused about what he ordered and spoke very low. Long story short, he caused a delay for the rest of us in line. Andrew was calm and composed through it all and made sure to keep the rest of us attended. The biggest reason for my review is he then goes to support his coworker to fix the issue with the order in front of us. As if that wasn't enough, once they were done helping the man in front of us he stops to give his coworker words of encouragement. Awesome experience to witness. The other employee rang us up and politely apologized to us for the delay. I can tell she is a new employee and let her know she didn't have apologize. Things will be second nature to her soon and that won't be the last difficult customer she will have to serve. And having a supportive coworker like Andrew will go a long way. I ordered a Philly Cheesesteak using the app. The app asked if I want the bread toasted or not and I picked not toasted like I did millions times before ordering the same sandwich before. I got my sandwich but when I unwrapped it and took the first bite, the steak and cheese were freezing cold literally hard from being taken off the freezer. When I went to talk to the girl who hand me the sandwich she said since o didn’t want the bread toasted, I get the meat cold as well. I was like WHAT? How does that even make sense? I even pulled the subway policy for them to read but they didn’t seem to care. The manager came out and acted irritated. He asked me to hand him the ice cream sandwich, trashed it and started making another one while raising his hand in my face (talk to the hand gesture) every time I tried to say a word. Read moreI truly hate to write this. Was at this subway yesterday with my parents heading back to Las Vegas from LA. We all ended up with food poisoning to varying degrees literally 2 hours after our meal here. My mom's was so bad that when she got up in the middle of the night to vomit, she hit her head badly and had to be rushed to the hospital. My family and I will never eat here again and will be contacting corporate to see what safety measures this location takes along with speaking to the location manager....
