Boulevard Diner — Restaurant in Bartlesville

I travel around often looking for new places to visit to eat at and am always willing to Share my experience... Our waitress was nice and provided great service and our food came out rather fast, it was close to closing time but we asked if it was too late to stop in for a bite before heading home from church.. I can tell you I’m not a picky eater but I spent $54. on a family of 4 including 3 desserts which wouldn’t have been bad but the food wasn’t even what I consider to be good.. They advertise to be home cooked but I’ve never been this disappointed at a home cooked restaurant as I was this evening. We had Breakfast, lunch , and dinner served during our meal and no one finished their food it just wasn’t good, the taste was quality of what you’d expect from McDonald’s price. I did however tip our waitress because she was very nice so the service I received is why I gave this restaurant 2 stars if it wasn’t for her service I would’ve given this place a 1 because zero stars aren’t an option. I usually become a regular at places I enjoy but this place we will not try...

I ordered a Taco salad because of the online description. Boy, was that a big mistake! The "seasoned meat" was a chopped up, twice cooked Hamburger patty. The shell was a little soggy but, I can understand since it was delivery. The meat was awful and so disappointing!! Never again! I have ordered chicken & Waffles. It was good so I was seriously disappointed. We will see what I get the next time. Edit #3 of my review: I ordered the daily special, meatball stuffed zucchini. SHEEEEEZ!!! Yummy, yummy in my tummy!! They take the seeds out of zucchini and stuff it with a meat mixture and cook potatoes with it. You get a side, I chose fresh tomatoes and it comes with a huge roll. It is so good, TRY IT!! I've been very satisfied with almost everything I've ordered. I work down the street and have my orders delivered (Doordash). The service has always been quick and the food hot. It is cheaper to do it online through Boulevard Diners website, instead of Doordash. I think this was my favorite meal from there!!...

The wait staff was really friendly and was working very hard. We waited 45 min for our food which as irritating but not really that big of a deal. We have been here several times before, we have breakfast here when we come to Bartlesville, but never again. The food all tasted bad, we could tell the oil hadn't been changed in a long time, the waitress kept apologizing for the wait. I had an omelet and couldn't eat it because the underside of the omelet was was white and slimmysl ike rhe egg wasnt cooked and it was like that throughout. We asked to speak to the manager and he was just awful and rude. He got so defensive and said there is nothing he could do about it and that we should've gone somewhere else. Just awful. My daughter and husband also wasnt able to eat their breakfast because it all tasted awful. We paid almost $40 for food we couldn't eat. Will take the manager's advise and just go somewhere else...
