I used to like this place. However the service and food has gone downhill over the last few years. So has the cleanliness. The last time me and my girlfriend went out to eat here we ordered our food. I went to try the sweet and sour sauce and it was fermented. She tried to blame it on the supplier but it didn't look any different from the times before. We got our food. Mine was good as always but my girlfriends food was just outright unedible. She got the rice noodles mixed with vegetables. I tried it myself and couldn't stomach it. I spit it out. It tasted old and punget or spoiled its hard hard to describe. Anyway she told the waitress and it went back to the kitchen. Neither one of us ate any of it. Didn't even offer to fix it or ask if she wanted anything else. So after my girlfriend watches me eat. The waitress hands us the ticket. They still had the meal that was sent back on there. I told her it needed to be taken off. She said she had to ask her boss Amy. Amy comes over to the table and says you have to pay for it. I said no it was sent back to the kitchen. It wasn't good not edible. I cant even eat it. She continues on saying I have to pay. Then she says pay half. She continued again and I stand firm and said no I will pay for what we ate. She decided that I wasn't going to be bullied and said ok. As we precede to leave she says to my girlfriend next time ask me what you like so you don't waste my time or money. No hard feelings. Both of us looked at each other and didn't say anything and at no point neither one of us got nasty with Amy. So I will not waste her time or my money at won't be back. We were return customers never ever had a problem besides this but I'm not going to be bullied and be treated...
Read moreI went to the establishment to enjoy a nice meal with my fellow nursing students and was beyond disappointed. I ordered the chicken lo mein and the noodles were made with some sort of fettuccine noodle. There was no sauce. Despite that I still tried. It was nasty. I asked to swap my meal and was told that I would still be charged for the meal I did not eat, on top of the new one being served. I declined and was prepared to pay for the disgusting meal I was served, however we had another student show up late to the lunch and was given her silverware and drink. That student opened the silverware and found a baby roach in it. That baby roach was the only reason my friends and I didn't pay for a thing. Needless to say we will not...
Read moreYou'd almost never know it was there unless somebody told you it was there and then took you to the door. It's hidden away in Eastland center, but it's the best place in town to eat Chinese food since Ocean China shut down. This is authentic Chinese food, it's made here. It's not made on a truck or in some factory and then trucked in. It's the real deal. The lady that seats you and is seems to be the main waitress is hilarious. She's quite the jokester. But she's very, very nice and extremely efficient. The food was fantastic, my girlfriend almost didn't know what to think because she was so used to eating Chinese food at these other places where it just comes out of a bag and gets reheated, she wasn't sure what to do with...
