Last night I had ordered 3 food items on the menu and got home and was missing an item so I called the restaurant to ask them if I can come back to get the rest of my order. Mind you, I left and got home 5 mins after I got it. The man on the phone asked for my order number in which I did not have because I didn't take the receipt bc why would you if you can trust a restaurant to give you what you ordered? I paid 33 dollars for my food and I looked up the email from my order and the man said give me one second. Left the phone for 3 mins and came back to tell me I'm busy can you call back later? Like you're busy?! What about my order? So I grabbed my phone and keys and left to go back there. I got there and he is on the phone with another customer helping them. I'm standing there waiting he looks at me and disappears into the kitchen for 5 mins and brings stuff out for a to go order in which there isn't anyone there waiting for one. He walks past me AGAIN to do something for another few mins and came back to "help" me. Asked me the order number and then AGAIN said I'm busy I'll be back. Goes to make 2 drinks that takes him 7 MINUTES to make all the while someone is standing there just watching him instead of offering help as well as glancing over at me. Finally he comes back over and I gave the confirmation number that he didn't need and I told him my ticket is in the stack of receipts that I tipped 5 dollars and signed and everything. He just started looking around as if there's nothing he can do. I told him my husband is at home eating already while I do not have my food. So after about 30 minutes of the whole ordeal he brings me what I ordered saying it was for another person's order but is giving it to me and LOW AND BEHOLD it was sitting on the takeout table since I WAS THERE TO PICK UP MY ORDER THE FIRST TIME!!! WTH WAS THAT?! absolute crap, will not be going back for a while. Get your crap...
Read moreAWFUL experience, will not be back! We sat on the dine in side, because it was going to be atleast a 20 minute wait on the hibachi side because they were needing more people to fill a table. The waitress was not sociable at all and held the cups at the rim of the cups.. gross! The staff needs training seriously! DO NOT PUT YOUR HANDS WHERE SOMEONE DRINKS OUT OF, that’s just common knowledge! We ordered our drinks and got water that was disgusting and when we asked the waitress for a different drink she turned around and just walked off. We went for AWHILE without drinks at all and they acted like it was a burden to get us anything to drink. We ordered our food and when it came out, it was cold. The hibachi dinner I ordered didn’t come with everything it was supposed to. My husband’s plate was a child size plate. The rice came out WAY later than anything else. When I asked for my vegetables, she brought them out and they were also cold. When we got our ticket, it was wrong and when we asked to speak to the manager, he wanted to argue and was rude! He asked what we wanted him to do about it?! We were wanting to pay for our food, but wanted him to know the issues in his establishment. I don’t know if he thought we were trying to get free meals or what.. but he wanted to argue about our food being wrong, and he argued that it was right! He said the vegetables were late coming out because they had to cook them fresh, then why the hell were they as cold as they were?! The cold food was the end for me! When you pay $60 for two people for dinner, you expect it to meet your EXPECTATIONS! I am very upset with our experience and the way that management handled...
Read moreMy recent visit to Soho Japanese Steakhouse was absolutely incredible! And let me tell you, Caleb, our awesome waiter, made it even better.
From the moment we walked in, Caleb greeted us with a big smile and tons of energy. He knew the menu inside out and hooked us up with some killer recommendations. Plus, he filled us in on the whole deal with the grill, where they cook the food right in front of you. Talk about dinner and a show!
The food at Soho was seriously next level. The filet mignon was like a slice of heaven—so tender and juicy, it practically melted in our mouths. And those scallops? They were seared to perfection, bursting with flavor. Every single bite was a taste explosion that left us wanting more.
But let me tell you, Caleb was the real MVP. He was always there when we needed him, making sure our glasses were full and our needs were taken care of. He had this awesome personality that kept us entertained throughout the whole meal.
The vibe at Soho was spot-on. It had this cool Japanese vibe going on that made us feel like we were in a whole new world. It's the kind of place where you can have a special night out or just hang with your friends and have a great time.
All in all, Soho Japanese Steakhouse blew us away. The food was amazing, the hibachi-style cooking was a blast, and Caleb made the whole experience just that much better. If you're up for a fantastic food adventure, Soho is where it's at. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. I'm already counting down the days until I can go back and chow down on more deliciousness served up by Caleb and the...
