i can't understand how anyone would give this restaurant 5 stars. i am being generous giving them 3. first of all everything they serve is DRENCHED in oil and grease. they use gallons of it to cook which should not be necessary for chinese cooking. i don't eat the beef because it never tastes like real beef. the wonton soup is salty. their dessert bar is nothing great and a lot of times the fruit food bar has sat a long time which i skip. as a matter of fact i never eat the little eclair type finger desserts because one time i cut one in half to see what the filling was and it had a blue mold in it. their green beans are hit & miss with most of the time the beans are tough and taste old. i don't make a habit of eating there because its nothing memorable and i don't want to get hardened arteries from all the grease and oil. its not worth spending more to eat dinner because the only difference is at dinner they put out popcorn shrimp. if you want to eat at a REALLY GOOD chinese buffet take the time to drive to owasso and eat at the oriental pearl. its much much better than this place. the only reason this place stays in business is because they really don't have a lot of competition. if you give this place 5 stars it tells me you have no idea what real chinese food tastes like. and this place never puts any chinese vegetables in any of their food like water chestnuts, bamboo shoots etc. its very bland. just somewhere you can fill up your belly because bartlesville really doesn't have a whole lot of good restaurants to choose from. also a lot of times the food is not hot or is overcooked which makes me think they reheat or use a lot of leftovers or leave out stuff from lunch for dinner til its gone. so if you like eating lots of greasy oily drenched fried foods that are stir fried the same way i guess...

The food is ok for the most part but 'ok' is about the best I can give it. I was there around 6:30 pm and the place was probably 80% full but the food did not seem fresh.
I watched the broccoli and beef stir pan being changed. The new pan was put in place and then the staff picked the beef out of the old pan and put in with the new stuff. One would wonder what was going to happen to the broccoli part. Recycle with new beef, don't know but that was what things seemed like to me, recycled and not fresh.
The people that work here were not really friendly. They kept the table cleared of used dishes but seldom made eye contact. When we checked out there wasn't a single word said. No 'how was everything' or 'thanks for coming', just absolutely nothing.
I give the 3 stars because the food was not bad. I didn't taste anything that seemed off but the overall food impression was that it lacked freshness. No stars for a dirty floor and minus a star for lack of friendliness.
There is plenty of free parking with some...

My family and I have been long-time customers, but we will never return after how we were treated recently. First, the pricing at this buffet is inconsistent and shady — depending on where they seat you, the price changes, even if you come in at the same time of day. That’s not how a buffet should work.
Second, the customer service is terrible. They rarely refill drinks, and they rush to take your plates even if you’re clearly still eating. But the worst part? When my mom went to pay (she had $50 cash for a $41 bill), the man at the front yelled at her, saying “It’s 41 dollars!” — then threw the money at her instead of simply giving back her change. It was completely uncalled for, aggressive, and humiliating. I had to step in because of how rude and disrespectful he was.
On top of that, we’ve seen children working the counter, which raises serious concerns about how this place operates.
If you value fair pricing, decent service, and basic human respect — stay far away from New China Super Buffet in Bartlesville. There are plenty of other places to eat in town where you won’t be...
