Senor Salsa — Restaurant in Bartlesville

Another good gem of Bartlesville! Highly recommended by the locals. This place was very hospitable and the food was awesome. Our crew decided to come here and eat lunch as we had completed a milestone in our project. We were welcomed by friendly staff and we were offered anywhere we wanted to seat. Drinks chips and salsa were promptly delivered to us. After I made my choice for lunch, I went to pay a visit to the bathrooms. The bathrooms were very clean. The decor was very modern. The hallway on the way to the bathrooms was very well decorated.

I ordered the pork carnitas lunch. The portion was just right. The flavors were very authentic. We were offered spicy salsa if we wanted to go with it.

I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch.

Observations: the outside facade is modern and inviting as well as the bathrooms. But I was a bit disappointed with the dining area carpet, thats so antiquated and it does not match the modern facade nor the decor of bathrooms. This was by far one of the best Mexican meals I've had here in Bartlesville. I was very surprised how amazing the food tasted. Like the seasoning was spot on for our dinner. The chicken dinner my husband had tasted amazing as well to us both. The salsa was amazing as well. I don't like places that taste like tomato sauce. I am extremely picky on my guacamole & how it's made. I hate tomatoes and onions in it and this place did not have either in it. It was the best guacamole I've had in Bartlesville. I will even go further to even say this was the BEST Mexican I've had here in Bartlesville. A lot of the other places it's way too salty and wasn't edible but this place everything was perfect and again the seasoning was spot on. The service wasn't bad at all. first time i ate here. ordered a lunch trio plate of enchiladas. the beef one was just ground beef with nothing else in it. the chicken one was just chicken with nothing else in it except some red coloring spice?? on it. the cheese one had no cheese or anything in it. i called the waiter over to complain. he seemed annoyed that i would make a complaint. he did bring me back another cheese enchilada & that one i think had some cheese in it but it seemed no different than the white cheese sauce poured over everything. a couple of tablespoons of lettuce with a teaspoon of guacamole on it. a few hrs later i had terrible stomach pains. hubby had the luncheon fahitas. he said his lunch was ok except he was surprised that he did not get any tortilla wraps or condiments for the fahitas. the waiter didn't bring us more salsa as we requested. eventually tho after asking him again later he brought us some. did not like this place. food was not that great. won't be back. glad we did not...
